    Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City

    We will head for the first stop of your Vietnam tour package after breakfast. Take an excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels, the shelter of Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. It is like an underground village with complete functions at the total length of 160 miles or so. There are three layers in the tunnels, with the meeting rooms, living quarters, wells and granaries distributed inside. During your visit, the guide will introduce the Vietnamese history in detail.

    In the afternoon, our guide will lead you to visit several attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. At first, we will head for the Saigon Opera House, a typical Gothic theater. Then, pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh City Hall built by French in the late 19th century. This city hall is in the classical Rococo style with red roofs and white walls. After that, we'd like to move to the landmarks of the city, neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral and Reunification Palace. At last, we will take you to the Ben Thanh Market where you can buy various handicrafts and taste local delicacies.

    Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho

    We will drive you to My Tho, located in the Mekong Delta and about 50 miles away from Ho Chi Minh City. After arriving, a motorboat is well arranged for you to visit the Fish Market and four attractive islands, including the Dragon Island, Turtle Island, Phoenix Island, as well as Unicorn Island. The delicious delicacies, tropical fruits, religious culture and traditional performances on these islands will offer an unforgettable experience for you.

    During the cruise, we will also arrange you a visit to a beautiful village on the bank and you can enjoy the honey tea at the house of villagers. We’ll drive you to Can Tho when you finish boating. After settling in the hotel with the help of our guide, the rest of the day is up to you.

    Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City - Hue

    We will take you to cruise on the Mekong River in the morning, and arrive at the Cai Rang Floating Market in about an hour. The market usually runs from around 04:00 to 10:00. The merchants sell various fruits and vegetables on the boats. You can find what you want through the samples hung on the top of the long poles. Then, our guide will escort you to the airport of Ho Chi Minh City to catch the flight to Hue. Upon arrival, our guide in Hue will accompany you to the Moonlight Hotel to check in.

    Hue Tour

    We will head for the Tomb of Minh Mang this morning, which is the most complete and beautiful tomb in Hue. This grand mausoleum incorporates harmoniously with its surroundings. Then, sail along the picturesque Perfume River (Song Huong River) to visit Thien Mu Pagoda on the northern bank. After that, proceed to Hue Imperial City, surrounded by a moat. This spectacular citadel is known as the largest and best-preserved ancient architectural complex in Vietnam. Take a few steps into the citadel, the Forbidden Purple City, the former residence of the royal family will be in front of you. The Dong Ba Market is our last destination today. You can buy the seafood, bamboo hats and silk paintings which are quite famous here.

    Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

    Today, we will head for Hoi An, a multicultural town in Vietnam. En route, we will stop by Da Nang to visit Hai Van Pass, Non Nuoc Beach and Cham Museum. Hai Van Pass is a branch of Truong Son. The top of the pass is surrounded by clouds and seems to connect with the blue sky. After climbing the pass, it could be quite comfortable to wander on the Non Nuoc Beach. Then we will take you to Cham Museum to appreciate the stone carvings and pottery carvings of Champa from 7th to 15th century. Continue the trip to Hoi An; our guide will help you check in the hotel. The rest time of the day is all yours. You may stroll around the Hoi An Ancient Town.

    Hoi An Tour

    Our guide will take you to explore the Hoi An Ancient Town on foot first. The Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese cultures co-exist in this town, so you can find various building styles and different cuisines there. In the ancient town, we will not miss the Japanese Covered Bridge, which is the combination of Japanese and Chinese architecture styles. We will also pray in a Chinese temple, Quan Kong Temple. Old House of Tan Ky, a former Vietnamese merchants' house is also on today's to-go list.

    Later, go sightseeing along the Huai River by boat, and stop at the Thanh Ha Pottery Village where you can see the process of making delicate potteries. These potteries in different shapes are usually used in the locals' daily lives. The potteries are lighter here compared with those made in other places.

    You can make your own arrangements to travel around Hoi An Ancient Town this morning. We will send you to Da Nang International Airport in the afternoon to fly to Hanoi. Upon arrival, our Hanoi guide will help you settle down in the hotel, and you may enjoy the rest time of the day freely.

    Hanoi Tour

    Today your private Vietnam tour will start with Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and then his former residence including Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House and Presidential Palace. After a visit to the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, we will continue the trip to West Lake area and Tran Quoc Pagoda. The next stop is a Taoist monastery named Quan Thanh Temple. It features the exquisite bas-reliefs and stately statue of the Zhenwu Emperor.

    After that, our guide will take you to the Museum of Ethnology. You can learn more about Vietnam through the daily articles, traditional art works and instruments, as well as the national and religious scriptures displayed in the museum.     Hanoi - Halong Bay

    Today, we will drive 3.5 hours to the Halong Bay, known for its charming waterscape. Board on the Indochina Sails Cruise after arrival, and then you may have a welcome drink and lunch during the cruise. The beautiful hills standing in the water comes into your sight along the way. In the afternoon, visit a typical karst cave in Halong Bay. It looks quite splendid with colorful stalactites in different shapes. For the rest of the day, you can either enjoy the picturesque scenery on the deck, or take part in the optional activities like kayaking, diving, and swimming. You will stay overnight on the cruise ship.

    Halong Bay - Hanoi - Luang Prabang

    If interested, you can get up early and take a Tai Chi class on the upper deck. Then take a small boat to visit the beautiful islands nearby after the morning tea or coffee. After that, there is a rich brunch prepared for you during your return cruise to Halong Bay Wharf. We'll take you to Hanoi Airport to catch a flight to Luang Prabang, one of the most beautiful cities in Laos. Our driver and the guide in Luang Prabang will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel we booked for you in advance. The rest of the day is for you to hang out or have a rest.

    Luang Prabang Tour

    Your private Laos tour will start with Pak Ou Caves, on the Mekong River bank to the north of Luang Prabang. You can admire thousands of Buddha sculptures in all kinds of gestures there. Then we will transfer you to Ban Xieng Lek and Ban Xang Khong Villages to appreciate the process of making Saa Jute Paper. The paper is usually made of mulberry bark dropped from trees. Next, we will head for the Mount Phousi, the holy land of the Hinayana. On the way up, you can explore some temples. You may have a chance to appreciate the original murals in Wat Pa Huak on the north slope of Mount Phousi. When arrive at the top of Mount Phousi, you can find the starting point of Lao New Year Parade, That Chomsi Pagoda. Sunset on the mountain top is amazing. At last, we will lead you to the Phousi Market.

    Luang Prabang

    The Alms Giving Ceremony in the morning is a massive scene in Luang Prabang. The Buddhist monks from different temples will get together for their daily meals at around 6:00. You may get up early to watch this solemn ceremony if you are willing to. Please return to the hotel for the breakfast after the ceremony, and continue the trip to Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Visoun. After that, you may learn the Lao history and customs better in the Royal Palace Museum. In the afternoon, we’ll drive you to admire the beautiful Kuang Si Falls. The water tends to be blue because of the rich minerals. Some pools have formed under the small falls.
