    Arrival in Hanoi

    Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be picked up at the airport exit and transferred to the hotel in the downtown area. After a little rest, the 8-day Vietnam tour package will begin. Our guide will lead you to the French-style Hanoi Opera House and then the Old Quarter to have a look of all sorts of handicrafts and souvenirs. Afterward, we will head for Hoan Kiem Lake in the center of the city. As one of the most famous attractions in Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake is surrounded by lush trees. You can also see many old buildings around the lake, among which Ngoc Son Temple is the most popular site. Today's Hanoi to Saigon tour concludes with the Water Puppet Show. Viewing this show can help you get to know daily activities of Vietnamese, especially those related to water, such as rice transplanting and fishing.     Hanoi - Halong Bay

    As the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi has many attractions with a long history. Today's private Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh itinerary will start with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence, where you can learn more stories about Ho Chi Minh, the founder of the Communist Party of Vietnam. We will also visit the nearby One Pillar Pagoda which was built on a single stone pillar in the center of a lotus pond.

    After that, you will be guided to the Temple of Literature. It was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, a great Chinese ideologist. Then follow your guide to Vietnam Fine Arts Museum. There, a large collection of artworks from the prehistoric age to the 21st century will be presented to you. Finally, we will drive you to Halong Bay in 4 hours and transfer you to the hotel directly.

    Ha Long Bay Cruise - Hanoi - Da Nang - Hoi An

    After breakfast in the hotel, we will have a 4-hour cruise on Ha Long Bay. Along the way, you can see hills in various shapes standing among green water. Disembark in the midway and you will be guided to Dau Go Cave and Thien Cung Cave to admire fascinating stalactites. Lunch will be served onboard.

    When the cruise is over, you will be transferred to Noi Bai Airport to catch your flight to Da Nang. When you arrive at the airport, the local guide will escort you to Hoi An Ancient Town in 50 minutes and help you check in the booked hotel.

    Hoi An (Walking Tour & Boat Trip)

    Your private Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh itinerary in Hoi An begins today. Hoi An, designated as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1999, was formerly one of the major commercial ports in Southeast Asia. The town has lots of traditional buildings of Chinese, Japanese and French styles. After breakfast, you will head for some popular destinations in Hoi An with the company of our guide, including Chua Ong Pagoda with a history of over 350 years, a merchant's former residence - Tan Ky Ancestral House, and Japanese Covered Bridge.

    Afterward, we will have a short boat trip to Thanh Ha Pottery Village to learn how to make Vietnamese pottery. For the rest of the day, you are free to wander around and enjoy the nightscape in Hoi An.

    Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue

    Have breakfast and then we will drive you to Hue in 3.5 hours. En route, we will make a stop-by at Hai Van Pass, on the top of which you can see long and beautiful coastlines. The fishing village of Lang Co will also be a visiting place in the midway. Upon arrival in Hue, you will be transferred to the hotel.

    Today's travel from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh begins with the Imperial City, also known as the Citadel. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient building complex in Vietnam, and there you can admire luxury royal palaces of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 - 1945).

    After that, we will visit the 400-year-old Thien Mu Pagoda, also called Pagoda of the Celestial Lady, to get a view of splendid halls shaded by leafy trees.

    Then you will be guided to Tomb of Tu Duc. It is not only an emperor's tomb, but also one of the most beautiful architectural works of the Nguyen Dynasty with pavilions and ponds in it. Conclude today's Hue private tour with Dong Ba Market to have a taste of local specialties.

    Hue - Saigon

    In the morning, the driver will take you to Phu Bai Airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and check in with the help of the guide.

    Today we will visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace to learn more about Vietnam War (1955-1975). Next, Notre Dame Cathedral is waiting for you. It is also called Red Cathedral for its construction with red bricks. As a typical Gothic building, it is a significant landmark of Saigon. The statue of Saint Mary in front of the cathedral was given as a gift by the Church of Rome in 1945.

    Then, follow the guide to go across the street to Central Post Office built by the French in the late 19th century. There, Vietnamese maps of different periods are hung on the wall to let you have a good knowledge of the country's territory changes. Besides, you can buy some souvenirs and send postcards to your friends.

    Today's final visiting place of your travel from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh will be Ben Thanh Market, the biggest market of Saigon. There you can have a look of various crafts and antiques.

    Saigon - Ben Tre - Saigon

    After 2 hours' drive, we will reach Ben Tre. A boat will be there taking you to cruise along the Ham Luong River with bustling scenes of locals exchanging goods on boat. Afterward, you can get to visit orchards and coconut groves etc. Then the boat will stop at a riverside village where you will walk into the farmer's life in a local house with our guide's company and then enjoy the rural scenery by "Xe Loi", a kind of rickshaw or bike. After having lunch in a local restaurant, take sampan to the pier to go on with the cruise back to Ben Tre. After arriving, our driver will take you back to Saigon.
