    Day by Day
  • Day 01
    Arrival in South Africa

    Take a flight to Cape Town International Airport. Upon arrival, you will first go to the most famous landmark - Table Mountain. You can look down from the top of the mountain for a panorama of the busy port and the beautiful sea sight. Then proceed to visit the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens which lies at the south foot of Table Mountain. Built in 1913, this garden used to promote and protect those special plant resources of South Africa. There are a large number of different plant varieties and most of them are collected from local areas. Here are also some rare species, such as ferns from age of ancient time.

  • Day 02
    Cape Town

    Today you will first go to visit the spectacular Chapmans Peak and then head to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. It was first built in 1939. The air is fresh and the whole reserve is full of green. There are more than 1200 kinds of plants and many kinds of animals, such as baboon, zebra, fox, antelope and so on. Besides, there are more than 250 kinds of birds, like ostrich, sunbird, albatross and cormorant. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful scenic spots. On the way back to Cape Town you will go to the Boulders Beach and take a close look at African penguins

  • Day 03
    Cape Town

    After breakfast, you will go to visit Franschhoek, the most beautiful scenery in Cape Canyon. Here once was a place developed by French colonists. Then you will also pay a visit to the local chateau.

  • Day 04
    Overberg

    You will leave Gordons Bay for Hermanus along the coast. On the way you will try to find some favorable vantage point and stop by for Southern Right Whale. This kind of whale usually appears in the coast of South Africa during May to September. After lunch at Hermanus you will go to village of Arniston and visit Waenhuiskrans there.

  • Day 05
    Garden Route

    After breakfast you will go to the Coastal City of Mossel Bay. This is the place where Portuguese explorer, Dias, first landed in South Africa. When arrival there you will go to visit Dias Museum and Milkwood Tree which was regarded as a mailbox by the sailors in the sixteenth century. Then you will take a short trip by train to George at the railway station of Mossel Bay.

  • Day 06
    Garden Route

    George is a small town face to the blue sea. It is one of the cities of Garden Route. Upon arrival you will drive to Oudtshroon, a place known by feeding ostrich and titled as World’s Feather Town. There you can visit the crocodile pit and leopard zoo. Then you can go to learn the eco-habits of ostrich and watch their show and match on the ostrich farm.

  • Day 07
    Port Elizabeth

    Today you will witness the beauty of Garden Route by visiting Natures Valley. Later you will proceed to visit Tsitsikamma National Park. This park is centered on Tsitsikamma and it owns a 100 kilometers long coast. Primitive wilderness, strange rock cliffs and gorgeous beach are set alongshore. It is characteristic of having dense forest grows along the valley. There is a walk way between Storms River and Natures Valley. It goes through the beach, cliffs, wilderness and the forest and presents a splendid view to people. After visiting here you will go to Storms River Mouth and finally get to Port Elizabeth.

  • Day 08
    Addo National Park

    After one and half an hour’s drive, you will arrive at Addo National Park from Port Elizabeth. Addo National Park, also called Addo National Elephant Park, is mainly protecting elephants as its major duty. At present, except for elephants, there are rhino, African water buffalo and so on so forth. Altogether there are more than one thousand kinds of animals. The whole day will be spent there.

  • Day 09
    Addo National Park

    Continue to visit at Addo National Park. Usually in early morning and nightfall the elephants will come out from the jungle. Visitors just need to wait next to the pond and you can see them playing together. The sounds they made are full of strength. So the tour today will start from dawn and end at nightfall.

  • Day 10
    Departure from South Africa

    This morning, you will continue to visit at Addo National Park. After that, you will go to the airport of Port Elizabeth to take a flight to Cape Town and then connect a flight departing from South Africa. This wonderful trip to South Africa ends here.
