    Arrival in Bangkok

    Upon your arrival at Bangkok, you will be greeted by our experienced guide and escorted to the hotel with comfortable private transfer. After checking in at the hotel, you will have the rest of the day free to make your own arrangements. You may either to relax in the hotel in preparation for your upcoming sightseeing or take a leisure stroll in the neighborhood.

    We start a full day sightseeing with the Wat Pho, the largest and oldest temple complex in Bangkok. It is well known for holding an indescribably big reclining Buddha, which is measured 46 meters long and covered all over with gold leaf. Then we explore the nearby Grand Palace including the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Combining the essence of Thai buildings, paintings, sculptures and decorations, the Grand Palace is absolutely a must-see for visitors to Thailand. After having lunch at a local fine restaurant, we will take a private long-tail boat to enjoy the wonderful easy time at Klong Bang Luang, a tranquil water-front community. Besides, we can also watch a traditional Thai puppet performance here if it is scheduled on the day. On our way back to the hotel, we will visit the beautiful Wat Arun.

    Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Bangkok

    After breakfast, we set out a day tour to Ayutthaya. On the way, we will first visit the Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, which was the summer palace used by the Thai Kings. The Wat Niwet Thammaprawat comes next. It is a very different temple which has blended Western, Thai and Buddhist culture elements. In Ayutthaya Historical Park, a place steep in history, we will explore the significant temples including the Wat Lokayasutharam, Wat Pananchoeng, Wat Mahathat, the famous Buddha head in the Banyan tree, etc. Drive back to your hotel in Bangkok in the late afternoon.

    Bangkok - Chiang Mai

    This morning you will take a flight to Chiang Mai. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After a break, we will pay a visit to the Meo Hill Tribe Village where we see local people wearing their traditional costumes. Then our sightseeing continues to the WatPhra That DoiSuthep, the icon of Chiang Mai. Standing high on top of a mountain, this temple is the most sacred one in Northern Thailand. In addition to enjoying the impressive views over Chiang Mai, you can also see many local people going about their spiritual practice during your visit.

    Today we will take a break from the temple visiting and drive out of town to the Elephant Nature Park. Here you can see elephant bathing and playing with each other. You can ride one elephant if you are interested. After having lunch, we will transfer back to your hotel, and you are free at leisure the remainder of the afternoon.

    Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai

    After having breakfast, we set out for Chiang Rai via. En route, we pay a brief visit at Mae Khajan hot springs, and then have a short rest at the Golden Triangle in Chiang Saen. Continue our journey to Mae Sai Border. There is a migration fee of THB500 for one day crossing to Myanmar to be paid on the spot if needed. Afterwards, our guide will show you Akha and Yao hill tribal villages, where you can learn about the local's old lifestyle. Check in to your hotel in Chiang Rai in late afternoon.

    Chiang Rai - Chiang Khong - Houayxay - Pakbeng

    Early in the morning, we head for Thai-Lao border in Chiang Khong. After finishing the Thai immigration formalities, you will meet our Laos representative from Luang Say Cruise. He will help you to apply for the Laos visa, and the visa fee is on your own. After that, you will be escorted to board the Luang Say Cruise boat for a join-in group journey with other tourists. Alternatively, we can also book a private boat for you exclusively at your request. 

    The boat sets sail from Houei Sai pier at around 09:30 am. An hour later, you’ll come to visit a traditional riverside village to glimpse the local way of living. After that, a buffet lunch will be served for you on board. As the boat continues sailing down the Mekong River, you can leisurely take in the beautiful scenery. It arrives at Luang Say Lodge in Pakbeng town before sunset. A Laotian dinner is offered tonight. You can also enjoy brilliant sunset view if the weather is fine.

    Pakbeng - Luang Prabang

    It is quite an experience to have breakfast while enjoying the fresh air and rustic atmosphere. At 08:00 am, your boat leaves for Luang Prabang. Along the way, it first stops at Ban Baw village, where you can see the local old way of making rice wine. Later it stops at Pak Ou Caves, which is also called Caves of Thousand Buddhas for housing a great many Buddha statues of all sizes. At about 17:00, your cruise boat arrives at Luang Prabang. Our local price guide will pick you up from the port and escort you to the hotel.

    If you are a morning person, our guide can arrange you see the daily traditional morning alms-giving and also show you the Phousi Market on your advanced request.

    Following breakfast at the hotel, we visit the Thai-style Wat Sene, the stunning Wat Xieng Thong, the time-honored Wat Wisunalat and the simple Wat Aham. Our afternoon sightseeing focuses on the Wat Mai and the Royal Palace Museum, both of which are must-sees of the city. We conclude the day by climb up to the top of the Mount Phousi, where we get nice views over the whole city of LuangPrabang.

    Luang Prabang - Vientiane

    A visit to Kuang Si Fall is scheduled for you today. En route, we will have a brief encounter with the Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay. As the No. 1 sightseeing spot in Luang Prabang, Kuang Si Falls near fails to leave deep impression on its visitors. Here you can see tiered falls, turquoise natural water pool and nice forest. It is a wonderful experience that visitors could swim and dive in the tempting cold water during the hot sunny day. Afterwards, you will be escorted to the airport for an afternoon flight to Vientiane. Our local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area of the airport and accompany you to the downtown hotel.

    Today's sightseeing starts with the Wat Si Saket, the oldest temple in Vientiane. The beautiful wooden structure and wall paintings here provide people with a good chance to look into the Buddhist culture of Laos. Our next stop is Wat Ho Phakeo, the formal Royal temple and now a Buddhist museum with a good selection of sculptures. As we proceed to the photogenic Great Sacred Stupa, we pass through the majestic Patuxay. After that, we go to the riverside Buddha Park, where there are various Buddha sculptures making the experience unique to visitors. We’ll end the day by watching the sunset over Mekong River.
