We are happy to provide feedback on our trip, which we enjoyed tremendously. And it was fun to meet you in person, Cynthia!

We greatly appreciated the opportunity to be a very small group. We were able to see and hear everything and our guides all spoke excellent English. We also had the flexibility to adjust the itinerary as we found places for more or less interest. It was a great way to see China and we will highly recommend Warrior tours to others who wish to visit there.

Overall evaluation:
We are very appreciative of the excellent job you did in organizing our trip. My only concern before we departed was whether the guides really would speak clear and understandable English. They all did. They were well versed in their local history and culture and were able to answer our questions. In fact our Guilin guide, Kevin, nearly got appropriated by some travelers from a world famous travel agency in US who had trouble understanding their guide!!

Juliet in Beijing could have helped us more by giving us the plan for the day and letting us have a little input. The one request we had of her was that we go to the Silk Market. Juliet did a great job, anticipating our needs and somehow getting the car and driver up to the Great Wall to pick us up when we got to the base of the sliding car.

Lily in Xian was an excellent guide. She allowed us the flexibility to stay longer at the Terracotta Army, which we found fascinating, and skip the Farmers¹ Cave. We could have skipped the Great Mosque, which was in disrepair, and we were grateful not to have had the free afternoon in the Bazaar there which would not have been a place in which we wanted to shop. Lily gave us lots of time at the Shaanxi Museum and the Great Wild Goose Pagoda which was delightful.

An earlier flight to Chongqing would have enabled us to see something of that city. Jenny took us to the People¹s Great Hall and we discovered that there is a new museum/exhibit about the Yangtse and the Three Gorges Dam, which was closed. It would have been really interesting to see that. Jenny was a great ambassador for her city and made us wish we had more time there.

The placement of the cabin on the Yangtse Cruise was wonderful. We appreciated being at the bow end near the library. (The ship management offered us the opportunity to upgrade to a suite for $100/night and we did that.)

Tony in Wuhan took us to the Bonzai Garden (not well kept) and Stone Museum, which was interesting, and a shopping opportunity. We would have appreciated an earlier flight to Guanzhou and Guilin.

Kevin in Guilin was a superb guide. He was extremely well informed and articulate. He was able to keep us away from the throngs of sellers, for the most part, and was very attuned to what we might want to see and do. Because our flight to Shanghai was in the evening, he took us to see his university, which was interesting. I appreciated his willingness to spend more time with us, rather than just dumping us a the airport to sit until flight time.

Lila, our Shanhai guide, was also very good. She is a sweet person of excellent English. She did give us a little time on our own, providing audio guides at the Shanghai Museum, which was a great idea, because the four of us could spend time in different sections of particular interest, and allowing us an hour of exploration on Nanjing Avenue.

All of the hotels were excellent. My one suggestion was that if we had stayed at a hotel nearer the shopping areas in Shanghai, we would have done some shopping there.

Of the three airlines we used, China Air was superior in terms of courteous service. Eastern China was second. Shanghai Air was least pleasant. The flight was late and the stewardesses least pleasant. We would have preferred late afternoon rather than evening flights, but I do understand that you do not make the airline schedules.

We all had a wonderful trip and will highly recommend Warrior Tours to friends who travel to China.

Dear Eileen, Lynne & Sally,

Thank you for a very good time. It was good meeting you in Xian. I could probably think real hard and come up with some minor complaint, but it would be very minor and probably unavoidable anyway. I think you really have a good orgainization. We had a very good time on our tour and please send our best regards to Rose, Echo, Tong, and Cynthia. They were especially nice.

I wrote this recommendation for you to use if you would like. You can also use the attached pictures.........

For all you considering booking a tour with warriortours.com. let me assure you that they are as good as can be expected. I had always wanted to see China but was not sure how to go about it. Previously I had done all my travel planning on my own. I have always been leery of package tours because of the high probability of having problems with at least one person in a large group situation. Warriortours.com promise of smaller groups, great lodging and non-tourist restaurants sold me. They lived up to those promises plus their guides and entertainment shows were all top notch. I can highly recommend the Beijing, Xi'an, Yangtze Rive cruise, and Shanghai 12 day tour.

Hope to see up again in the future,

David Custer

Dear warriortours.

I wish to thank you for arranging our recent tour to Guilin and Yangshuo.

The holiday exceeded my expectations.

The scenery was absolutely beautiful and the people were very friendly.

As well as the guided tours we also had a day to ourselves in Yangshuo where we hired bicycles and visited The big Banyan tree and moon hill.

We found plenty to do in the evenings and got the chance to meet and get to know some Chinese people.

Our Guide looked after us very well indeed.

We have very fond memories of this trip and would like to visit again in the future.

Thanks for a great tour.

Dear Eileen and Nancy

Our magical trip to China

Thank you to everyone who made our first trip to China so memorable. Following the quality of service from you when booking the trip we should have known that the Company's commitment to quality would continue throughout our journey in China. And so it did.

A little apprehensive about a change from group to individual tour we arrived in Beijing to be met by Nancy, our guide, who gave us such a warm welcome that our fears were allayed. It turned out to be the best decision, having our own guide and driver allowed more flexibility in the itinerary and we were able to talk about many differences in our cultures whilst travelling from site to site as well as being given knowledgeable tours of the various attractions we visited. Our guides in Xi'an, Emma and Shanghai, Carole, were equally as charming and courteous to our every need.

The sightseeing seemed relentless and the pace fast but there was so much to see and we were loathe to miss anything. Still it would have been nice to ¡°potter¡± or to sit in the quiet solitude of the gardens of the Great Mosque, perhaps next time!

The Great Wall was Tim's outright winner he loved the immensity of the engineering feat although I doubt he would have liked to have built it. For me, I loved the parks and gardens where the Chinese congregate to exercise, play music, sing and play games. We were invited to have a go at a ¡°bat and ball¡± exercise with a couple in the Temple of Heaven park. It looked so easy but it wasn't.

For pure spectacle the Terracotta Warriors were stunning and the work involved in the restoration awesome. We met the farmer who was one of the original people to find the first fragments of pottery. Is that not history in the making!

We watched the actors put on their make up at the Peking Opera in Beijing, before sitting at very good seats in the theatre and sharing ¡°birthday cake¡± with a couple from Sweden. In Xi¡¯an we saw the Tang Dynasty Show and imagine our surprise at being taken to see the Shanghai Acrobatic Show at the Portman which was not listed on our itinerary. Whilst this was a stunningly skilful performance which made you hold your breath my favourite was the Tang Dynasty Show, the colours, the dance, the music, the way the silk of the costumes moved like liquid, quite spectacular.

Tang Dynasty Show - what a cape!

Our hotels in Beijing and Xi'an were lovely with comfortable rooms, good service and excellent food. We felt the Pacific Luck in Shanghai let the tour down, it was being refurbished and whilst the room was comfortable the service and breakfast was disappointing and the view from the window, well there wasn't one. I would advise an upgrade to a better hotel if possible. However we made up for this disappointment by have the most amazing massage at the Hotels massage parlour. I went for the foot massage, much needed after all that walking.

Overall our trip was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend your Company to anyone looking to have a small taste of China but I would have to warn them that one trip may not be enough and not be surprised if they start looking at the travel planner again with Warrior Tours.

Kind regards and thank you again

Dear Sirs/Madams,

On behalf of the entire group, I would like to thank and congratulate your Travel Office for the exceptional organization and comprehensive schedule. Despite the limited time, all shceduled activities were on time:
The hotel was superb with very modern facilities, the lunches and the dinner were delicious, and all the places we visited very interesting.

Finally, our guide (Juliet) and the driver were very helpful, polite, ready to assist and satisfy all of our requests.
Overall, our trip in China was a very interesting experience for all of us. Towards this objective the contribution of your office was, indeed, significant.

Best regards

Dear Nancy,

Overall, your tour was better even than we expected.

Rose in Beijing, Cyndy in Xi'an, Peggy in Shanghai and Julia in Suzhou were all wonderfully knowledgeable and attentive. We particularly appreciated how they (and Wu in Chongqing and Frank in Yichang) all picked us up promptly at each destination and insured that we got off safely. I especially commend Wu who had hurt his foot on the morning of our tour, but soldiered on courageously and graciously.

The cruise was fabulous and Suzhou was a wonderful surprise.

We are really pleased that we opted for an extra day in Shanghai on our own; otherwise, I'm not sure we would have had the time to appreciate the city.

We loved--really loved--the three shows to which we were treated in Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai.

Our favorite restaurants had good atmosphere as well as good food . . . but for sure the meals were always good and varied.

All hotels were fine, although the Pacific Luck in Shanghai had a much inferior breakfast and ambience than the others--although the room there was among our favorites.

The only real suggestion I have is that your tour be a bit more sensitive to energy levels. For instance, on the last day of the cruise, we were up very early to tour the dam. Upon arrival in Yichang, we would have appreciated a comfortable place to relax, read, internet or whatever instead of touring the sturgeon museum--especially because the airport there, under reconstruction, was a most uncomfortable place as well.

Once again, though, I want you to know how in all key respects, your service provided us with a marvelous experience and superb customer service.

When I get to review our photos, I'll be happy to send you a few.
