    Arrival in South Africa

    Fly to Johannesburg, the biggest city of South Africa. Johannesburg is a city full of energy and life. Although full of the modern city atmosphere, the city has still kept its primitive side of shanty town of 1880s. Upon arrival, you will check in the hotel and take a rest to adjust jet lag.

    Johannesburg - Sun City

    Today you are scheduled to visit Gold Reef City. There you can watch the local dancing and the melt process of gold and also go deep 220 feet down to have a look at the scene of mining gold in person. After lunch you will transfer to Sun City, the famous entertainment city of South Africa. Some parts of Sun City are going to be visited, such as famous Lost City (an outside look), and Bridge of Time.

    Sun City - Pretoria - Johannesburg

    In the morning, you will track the wild animals by an open car at Pilanesberg National Park, the fourth largest park in South Africa. Giraffes, rhino, baboon, zebra and countless African gazelles may be seen. After lunch you will go to Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa with more than 60,000 Chinese red bud trees in the city. You will visit the ancient Greek style presidential palace and Voortrekker Monument. Then take a bus tour at Pretoria Church Square. The statue of President Paul Kruger has witnessed the white rule to South Africa. Later go back to Johannesburg.

    Johannesburg - George - Oudtshoorn

    Fly to George in the morning. George is a small town face to the blue sea and also one of the cities of Garden Route. After lunch, you will drive to Oudtshroon, a place known by feeding ostrich and titled as World’s Feather Town. There you can visit the crocodile pit and leopard zoo. Then you will go to learn the eco-habits of ostrich and watch their show and match on the ostrich farm. After the ostrich meat dinner, you will check in the hotel and rest.

    Oudtshoorn - Knysna - Wilderness

    Drive to Knysna, names ad “Swiss in South Africa”. The city is surrounded by beautiful salt lake. It is the most beautiful stop of Garden Route because of its unbelievable ocean and mountain scenery. Then take a sightseeing boat to Atoll Lake to see the beautiful waves and precipitous mountain. You will also not miss THE HEADS. After lunch you will go shopping at Water Gate district. There are many restaurants and cafes and featured shops. Then go to Wilderness, a small town next to the sea. On the way you can enjoy the scene along the Garden Route.

    Wilderness - Mossel Bay - Cape Town

    Drive to Mossel Bay, which is the place where Portuguese explorer, Dias, first landed in South Africa. After arrival we will visit Dias Museum and Milkwood Tree which was regarded as a mailbox by the sailors in the 16th century. Then you will plan to take the old-styled steam train (if it is out of service, take a bus instead) to Cape Town and climb the Table Mountain which has a flat top to overlook the whole city. If the weather condition is not allowed, this plan will be canceled. At last, you will go to water gate square to do shopping freely.

    Cape Town

    You will first go to Hout Bay and stop to take photos at The Twelve Apostles. Then proceed to the pier and take a boat to tour around Seal Island. There are thousands of seals, young or old, playing and seeking food on the island. It might be canceled because of bad weather or repairing work. The afternoon tour will take you to visit penguin beach to see the penguins’ normal life. After that you will go to Cape of Good Hope and take a cable car to the well-known Cape Point, a lighthouse. On it you can see the grand convergent sight of the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean.

    Cape Town - Johannesburg - Departure from South Africa

    After breakfast you will take a bus to the airport and fly back to Johannesburg, then connect a flight leaving South Africa.
