    Arrival in Slovakia

    Upon arrival in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia, you will transfer to check in the hotel and be free for the rest of the day. Slovakia is a country with numerous historic scenic spots and rich sightseeing resources. Besides, it also owns much more castles than any other countries in the world. You can find historical remains of ancient castles and well-preserved museum collections. Bratislava is the political center of the Slovak Republic.

    Bratislava is worth of your close attention. There are many historical remains of castles, including Bratislava castle, a famous attraction in Bratislava. Now, there are history museum and music museum inside the castle, which includes part of Slovak National Museum. Then you will visit the St. Martins Cathedral, Primatial Palace and Michalska gate in old city area. At last, you are going to visit the Devin castle, which is one of the most important castles among 150 ancient castle relics as well as one of the oldest and most beautiful castles in Slovakia.

    Today you will head for the ancient city Levoca by bus. After arrival, you are going to visit Spis Castle, which is the biggest medieval castle and listed in the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. This castle is considered to be the most magnificent and representative medieval castle in the middle of Europe. Its history can be traced back to the year of 1113. Then you will proceed to visit the famous Gothic Church of St. Jacob, the pilgrim place of Slovakia.

    The High Tatras Mountains

    Today you will head to visit the High Tatras Mountains. With 35 gorges and more than 500 peaks, it is one of the most beautiful sceneries in Slovakia. You can hike around the part of the High Tatras Mountains to enjoy its natural beauty.

    Svaty Kriz and Vlkolinec

    Today you will visit two villages, Svaty Kriz and Vlkolinec. They are all in the list of United Nation’s World Cultural Heritage. Svaty Kriz, located in the center of Liptov region, is one of the biggest wooden architectural complexes in central Europe. Vlkolinec is a mountain village, which has the unique buildings and bell tower. Svaty Kriz and Vlkolinec are the essence of the history and culture of Slovakia and all worth of visiting.

    Banska Stiavnica

    Banska Stiavnica is the most important mining industry center in Slovakia and its long history can be traced back to 13th century. Because of its important historical value, this little town and its surrounding has recorded in the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO. You will spend the whole day visiting Banska Stiavnica. You can ramble over streets and lanes to appreciate its amazing history.

    Today, you will go back to Bratislava by bus or by train. After arrival, you can choose to rest at hotel or stroll around the city by yourselves according to the time schedule.
