    Arrival in St. Petersburg

    You will arrive at St. Petersburg, the second largest city in Russia, by plane. Upon arrival, you will transfer to check in a hotel and then have a good rest. Founded in 1703, St. Petersburg has a history of over 300 years so far. It is named after a disciple of Jesus – Saint Peter. As one of the few cities that have white nights, St. Petersburg almost has no nights during the period from May to August every year when people can ramble along the peaceful Neva River and look into the distance to appreciate the northern lights under twilight at night. Being there by yourself, you will feel as if you are in a dream.

    St. Petersburg

    In the morning, you will travel along the Neva River by boat and then go to visit the Summer Palace which is reputed as “the Russian Versailles”. The Summer Palace, also called Peterhof, was once an official summer residence of the Emperor Peter. Here, you can visit the Upper Gardens, the Lower Gardens, the Fountain Garden and so on. In the afternoon, you will return to the urban area to visit the Industrial Park, Triumphal Gate, Arts Square, etc. After that, you will visit the Aurora Cruiser which launched the first incidents of the Communist Revolution in Russia – October Revolution, and the beautiful St. Isaacs Cathedral that is the third highest architecture with a great dome in the world.

    St. Petersburg - Moscow

    The morning tour will take you to visit the Peter and Paul Fortress, the original citadel of St. Petersburg founded by Peter the Great. Then you are going to visit the Winter Palace, also known as Hermitage Museum. Built between 1754 and 1762, the Winter Palace was the official palace of the Russian Empire as well as the imperial palace of all the Russian Tsars. It is three-storied Baroque architecture with more than 1000 rooms and luxurious interior and exterior decorations. In the afternoon, you will take a train to Moscow.

    The whole day will be spent in Moscow, the capital city of Russia. First, you will visit the Kremlin Palace, one of the eight wonders in the world. The palace is the world-renowned architecture complex and the landmark building of Russia. Moreover, the Moscow city was built gradually on the basis of this palace. Then, you will visit the Red Square, a famous city square in Moscow, and other attractions nearby, including the St. Basils Cathedral, Lenins Tomb and Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the biggest church in Russia. Followed all these, you will visit Pushkin Square and then go to Sparrow Hills, also called Lenin Hills, to have a good panoramic view of Moscow. At last, you will complete tour today by taking a yacht travelling on the Moscow River. In addition, the Moscow metro and the well-known Arbat Street are also must-visit places for tourists.

    Moscow - Yasnaya Poljana - Voronezh

    After breakfast, you will leave the urban areas of Moscow to start a new journey in its countryside. First, you will stop at Yasnaya Poljana to visit Leo Tolstoy Museum as well as his house. Yasnaya Poljana is the place where Tolstoy was born, spent his whole life and his grave is located, so you will spend some time here to know more about Leo Tolstoy. Then you can reach today’s last destination Voronezh by way of Yelets.

    Voronezh

    Voronezh is located at the junction of the forest steppe and steppe zones, with natural grassland and being famous for its rich black soil. Therefore, it is one of the important farm belts in Russia. In addition, there are also several historical sites that can date back to 17th to 18th century. Today, you will visit a large potato farm and know about the management as well as the production procedure of this farm. The directors in charge of this farm will be your guides here. After finishing the tour, you will get back to Voronezh.

    The first destination today you will visit is a large food production company. The products of this company include fast food, frozen fast food and canned soup. Then you will pay a visit to the farms of a local farmer. You will look around and learn about his farm under his guide. After this you will go back to Voronezh.

    Voronezh - Liski - Voronezh

    You will go to Liski to visit another large farm today. The products of this farm include winter wheat, summer barley, sunflower seeds and beets.
