    Arrival in Romania

    You will fly to Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Bucharest is the national economic, cultural and transportation center. Bucharest is pronounced as Bucuresti in Romanian which means the “happy city” (Bucur means happy). After arrival, you will transfer to check in the hotel and rest for the remaining day.

    Bucharest - Brasov - Sighisoara

    Today you will first tour around in Bucharest. There are many places of interest in Bucharest. First of all, you will go to visit the Parliaments Palace of Romania which locates on a hillside in the center of the city. Then you are going to visit the open air Village Museum in the north part of the city. In the afternoon, you will get to one of the biggest medieval cities in Transylvania, Brasov, which owns numerous historical buildings. Some of these buildings have been recorded in the list of World Heritage Site by UNESCO. For example, the local famous Black Church has attracted thousands of foreign visitors. Except those essential sites, you will also visit the old city hall and St. Nicholas Church. Then the next stop is Sighisoara.

    Bucharest - Brasov - Sighisoara

    Today you will first tour around in Bucharest. There are many places of interest in Bucharest.     Sibiu - Sighisoara

    First you will take a bus to Sibiu. Built in more than 800 years ago, Sibiu is also called as City of Oak and is the region of Nordic in Transylvania. The splendid appearance of a medieval city can be seen everywhere, such as the old castles and those priceless relics. Here you will pay a visit in Evangelical Church, Small Square, gothic churches, Liars Bridge which is the first iron-made bridge in Romania and so on. Then you will return to Sighisoara, but you will stop by at Biertan to visit the castle there. It is one of the most important Saxon fortifications in south Transylvania. In Sighisoara, you will visit those precious medieval relics including the city wall, the bell tower, and churches.

    Carpathian castles - Bran and Peles

    Today’s tour will begin with the visit of famous Bran Castile, namely the Draculas Castle. It was built in 1377. In the end of the 19th century, an Irish writer, Bram Stoker, wrote a very famous novel Dracula. The novel is set in this castle with a hero named Dracula who is a vampire. Just because of this impressive novel, people have defined this castle as Castle of Vampire. Then you will go to Sinaia to visit Peles Castle. In the ancient time, it was the summer resort for the king of Romania. It is considered as the most beautiful castle in Romania. After finishing the tour, you will travel back to Bucharest.
