Wu Gorge, Yangtze Three GorgesYour expected Yangtze River tour is not a dream any more upon your arrival in Chongqing, a city situated in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River - at the confluence of Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. Our guide in Chongqing will meet you outside the baggage claim area. After helping you transfer your luggage into the private car, you will be transferred to visit the Chongqing Zoo if time permits. Around 150 species will be seen in this zoo, especially, some precious endangered species. In particular, you can also take the advantage to see the lovely Pandas. After your short stay there, the visit to the former residence of the famous General Joseph. W. Stiwell will be arranged if you still have time. Then you will be taken to board your memorable Cruise ship and your exciting cruise tour begins at 22:00 when the ship set sails.

2Chongqing/ Fengdu or ShibaozhaiUndoubtedly, you can enjoy the riverside scenery all through your cruise tour. Around 8:30, you will disembark at Fengdu, a quaint site which is thronged with tourists who come to visit temples and shrines dedicated to the gods of the underworld. After the sightseeing, you will board the cruise ship again. Then enjoy the lunch in the cruise ship and take the afternoon to rest or make new friends if you like. The river guide will also offer some information about the places the ship goes through. Or, you will visit the Shibaozhai instead. After your dinner, you will be invited to join in the Captains Welcome party to have fun. You can dress formally to leave a good impression on others, while some casual clothes are also acceptable. The Captain will show his sincere greetings and offer some useful information about the cruise you take. Taking a photo with the Captain is also very popular among the visitors. 3Badong/ Xiling Gorge/ Sandouping
Fantastic scenery
along Yangtze RiverThe significant day for your short cruise is just on todays sailing program. You will appreciate the unique scenery of the Three Gorges. The ship will sail through the spectacular Three Gorges - Qutang, Wu and Xiling. Start just after Fengjie and end near Yichang, a stretch of about 200 kilometers. The gorges vary from 300 meters at their widest to less than100 meters at their narrowest. In this section, the Yangtze carves its way through the gorge between the sheer precipices on both sides. The cruise company will compare some lunch box for you for you to take the interesting adventure to Shennong Stream, which definitely will leave you a marvelous impression. You will experience sitting in the pea boats, which are pushed forward by the back-busting boat trackers. Return to the cruise ship, and do not miss the great moment of passing the Xiling Gorge. Consisted of dangerous rapids and current, Xiling Gorge starts at Badong County zigzagging for seventy six kilometers (forty seven mile) down to the Nanjin Pass in Yichang. It is the longest part of the Three Gorges. When you are approaching the sites of the Three Gorges Dam, then it is just the time for the cruise to pass through the Three Gorges Ship Lock, just around 18:00. 4Exit YichangThe ship will pause at the Sandouping village after a whole night sailing. After having the buffet breakfast in the cruise ship, you will be driven to visit the famous Three Gorges Dam Hydroelectric Project, which has a far-reaching influence in the hydroelectric history in China, even to the whole world. This grandest project is planned to be completed in 2009 and it will be another breakthrough that Chinese people has been made after the Opening-up and Reform policy in 1978. This project will play an important role in preventing or controlling flood and also in Chinas navigation industry. You will take the chance to see the microcopy of the Three Gorges Dam project and know its background and development. This short visit will is bound to be another highlight for your cruise tour. Then the cruise tour just concluded and you will be met by your local guide in Yichang on board. A private comfortable transfer will take you to have a short tour in Yichang if your time permits. After having a lunch quite different from that offered in the cruise ship, take a visit to the Yichang Museum, the essence of this city and the best way to know its past and glory.
