    Many greetings! When arriving in Beijing, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag or you can stroll along the streets near your hotel to get an initial impression of China.

    Forbidden City, Beijing

    Your first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across the Tiananmen Square which is located at the center of Beijing City and claimed to be the largest square in the world. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. The Forbidden City used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties seated only 1 kilometer north of the Tiananmen Square. After enjoying an a la carte lunch at a nice restaurant, the amazing Temple of Heaven waits for your visit in the afternoon. The temple was built in 1420A.D. during the Ming Dynasty to offer sacrifice to Heaven. It is much bigger than the Forbidden City with an area of about 2,700,000 square meters. In the evening, a fascinating Chinese Kungfu Show at Red Theater will be arranged for you. (B, L)

    Beijing

    It is a once in a life time experience to walk upon the Badaling Great Wall of China which remains one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance. To celebrate this historic visit, your lunch will be specially arranged at a local popular Sichuan cuisine restaurant. After that you will be transferred back to the city to marvel at the treasures of the Summer Palace which is an outstanding example of imperial gardens. On the way driving back to the city area, you could see the appearance of the Birds Nest and the Water Cube, both of which are the permanent buildings of Beijing Olympics.(B, L)

    Beijing/ Tsetang

    After breakfast at the hotel, private transfer will take you to the airport to board a flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the downtown Tsetang to check in at the hotel. For the first day in such an area with high altitude, you are suggested to do as little as possible to give your bodies time to adjust to the thin air. (B)

    Potala Palace, Lhasa

    Take car to the bank of the Yarlung Tsangpo River and be transferred to visit the Samye Monastery by ferry. The monastery combined styles of Chinese, Tibetan and India. The layout was designed completely according to ideally universe in Buddhist scriptures. After that, you will spend the afternoon time to visit the Tomb of Tibet Kings and the Yumbu Lakang. (B, L)

    Tsetang/ Gyangtse

    A new excited day will be unveiled with visit to the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain on the way to Gyangtse. Located about 100 kilometers (62 miles) to the southwest of Lhasa, the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake is one of the three holiest lakes in Tibet apart from the Namtso Lake and the Manasarova Lake. The turquoise blue lake is also call Coral Lake of the Highland due to its shape. Check in at the hotel. (B, L)

    Gyangtse/ Shigatse

    Continue the tour with visit to the Palkhor Monastery. As a typical fifteenth Tibetan monastery, its structural style is very unique. In addition, it collects about 100 robes and costumes worn in Tibetan opera, which were all made of silk, embroidery and tapestry during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) and the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Then pay a visit to the Gyangtse Old Street. Take car to Shigatse. Check in at the hotel. (B, L)

    Gyangtse Old Street, Tibet

    Take sightseeing tour of Tashilhunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen. Tashilhunpo Monastery is a very influential monastery in Tibet. It was founded in 1477 by Gendun Drubpa, the first Dalai Lama and a most outstanding disciple of Tsong Khapa. In 1713, the Fifth Panchen Lamas title and status were finally ascertained by the Chinese emperor. The monastery became the seat of Panchen Lama. After that, take car to Lhasa and check in at the hotel. (B, L)

    The day begins with a tour of Tibet Museum and the workshop of the Lhasa Carpet Factory for a visit of making traditional Tibetan carpets. Then experience the exciting sutra-debating in the Sera Monastery and visit the Dalai Lamas Summer Palace, Norbulingk Park. (B, L)

    Lhasa

    This morning you will visit the world famous Potala Palace. The monastery-like palace was the religious and political center of old Tibet and the winter palace of Dalai Lamas. It is composed of White Palace and Red palace. The former is for secular use while the later is for religious.Then visit  the Jokhang Temple, a most sacred place for all Tibet pilgrims, surrounding the temple is the famous Barkhor Street.  With interest, we also arrange a tour to the Tibetan Traditional Hospital.     Lhasa/ Xian

    In the morning, you will take a special visit to a Tibetan family to learn about the life of local people. Then take a flight to Xian. Our local guide in Xian will be waiting for you at the airport and transfer you to the well-selected hotel booked for you in advance. (B,L)

    Todays highlight is a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Of the three pits, the typical figures of Pit one includes an armor clad general, armored soldiers, tunic-infantrymen and war chariots. A decent a la carte lunch will be served at a local notable restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The storied pagoda was built with layers of bricks but without any cement in between. With simple style and high structure, the Pagoda is indeed a good example of ancient peoples wisdom and talent. Then a visit to the well-preserved ancient City Wall is scheduled for you. The Wall boasts the most complete city wall to have survived through Chinas long history. Tonight you will enjoy the wonderful Tang Dynasty Music and Dances Show and Dumpling Banquet at Shaanxi Opera Theater. (B, L, D)

    Xian

    This mornings tour features the Provincial History Museum. Among the chronological dynastic exhibits, the pre-historical and bronze show together with terra cotta figures and murals from tombs of Tang dynasty are highly recommended. After your a la carte lunch served at a famous local cuisine restaurant, you will continue to visit the Great Mosque on the bustling Muslim area. Near the mosque is a lively bazaar, where you will enjoy some free time. For dinner of this evening we would like to leave it on your own so that you could have a chance to taste the local flavor. You may get suggestions from your local guide. (B, L)

    Xian/ Guilin

    Take a morning flight to Guilin, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon you will enjoy a leisure visit to the Elephant Trunk Hill. (B,L)

    Guilin/ Yangshuo

    Yangshuo tranquil scenery, Guilin

    Depart your hotel in the morning and drive to the Zhujiang Dock, where you will board your ship and start cruising on the beautiful Li River. Lunch is served on board. (Here Warrior Tours suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today since the cruise lunch may not meet your expectation.) Disembark your ship upon arrival at Yangshuo at about 14:00. After checking in at the hotel, we specially arrange you a bicycle trip (or car transfer) to the countryside in Yangshuo and a visit to a local villagers home. (B, L)

    Yangshuo/ Guilin/ Hongkong

    You will be transferred to Guilin to visit the Seven Star Park and the Reed Flute Cave, a brilliant cave marked on almost all travel itineraries. The cave got its name from the verdant reeds growing outside it, with which people make flutes. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition.  Then you will be transfered to the Guilin airport for your flight to Hongkong. Upon arrival, please transfer to the hotel we booked for you on your own. (B)

    The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. You are suggested to have a half-day Hongkong Island Tour. Peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District then to the Victoria Peak, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market on your own. Remain afternoon free for your shopping. (B)
