China Lifts Jet Fuel Surcharges on Domestic Flights

Due to the rise of the aviation kerosene price, the State Development and Reform Commission and the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced that fuel surcharges on domestic flights would be increased as of November 5th, 2007.

After the adjustment, those air routes less than 800 kilometers (497 miles) charge each passenger fuel surcharges CNY 60 which is CNY 10 higher than that of the previous, and the fuel surcharges of those 800 and over 800-kilometer-long air routes are adjusted up by CNY 20, from the original CNY 80 to present CNY 100 per passenger.
