    Arrival in Auckland

    You will arrive in Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand by international flight. Upon arrival, you will check in a hotel and rest to adjust the time difference.

    Auckland - Paihia

    Today, you will head to the tree-lined Parry Kauri Park to visit the fir museum in Matakohe and listen to a comprehensive guide explain. After passing through a sub-tropical-style coastal city Whangarei, you will arrive at the home of indigenous people--Paihia, locating in New Zealands North Island. Then you are going to visit the Waitangi Treaty House – the signing place of Treaty of Waitangi and the founding basis of New Zealand. This Treaty was signed by the British royal family and the Maoris in 1840, to promote New Zealand to establish a British legal system, and to confirm Maori’s ownership of land and culture.

    In the morning, you will go to visit Cape Brett and Hole in the Rock by luxury catamaran. After that, go back to Auckland.

    Auckland - Rotorua

    The morning tour will take you to visit New Zealands landmark - the Sky Tower, which is the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. At the 190-meter height, the tower has multi-storey observation deck and high-powered telescope, which is convenient for visitors to enjoy panoramic views of Auckland. Every year, about 100 million visitors travel here. Then, passing through a beautiful village, you will head to Longlands Dairy Farm, where you can visit bucolic local families and enjoy local meals. At last, you will go to Rotorua to visit the world famous Paradise Valley Springs--the conservation field for New Zealand snakehead fish, enjoying New Zealands pure natural environment.

    Rotorua

    Today, you will take Gondola (a unique Venetian tip boat) to the Cableway Restaurant for breakfast. During the way, you can enjoy the beautiful local scenery. Then go to visit the Agrodome Pasture, watching sheep shearing Show, shepherd dog training, milking, feeding lambs, wool auction and so on. You will also have some free time to enjoy the magnificent countryside beauty and Rotorua Lake. Then you will go to watch the famous Rotorua boiling mud pools and the awesome geysers. The evening’s delight will be the unique Maori Hangi and Concert.

    Rotorua - Napier – Masterton

    This morning, you will leave Rotorua for Huka Falls and Lake Taupo along the Thermal Explorer Highway. Then you are going to visit the "Art Deco Capital of the World" – Napier. Napier was razed to the ground by earthquake and fire in 1931, and later was rebuilt by popular Art Deco style. After that, you are scheduled to visit Wairarapa, which is famous for pinot noirs and sauvignon blancs. Wairarapa, a beautiful quaint historic town, has vast vineyards, apple orchards, lavender garden, olive groves and heritage museums.

    Masterton - Greytown – Wellington

    Today, you will go to quaint historic town--Carterton and Greytown, visit the home of fine wines and olive groves - Martinborough, the Pinot Noir wines and delicious meal here will make your mood bright and clear. Travel through the scenic Rimutaka Hill, you will head for the capital of New Zealand - Wellington.

    Wellington - Picton - Blenheim

    The whole morning is free on your own. Here are some recommendations: you can go to visit New Zealands National Museum, Parliament Buildings. In the afternoon, by way of Cook Strait and Marlborough Sounds, you will get to Picton by Interislander Ferry. Then you can take bus to go to Blenheim for sightseeing.

    Christchurch - Twizel

    You will arrive at Lake Tekapo after passing through the Canterbury Plains. Here, you can enjoy the clear blue lake, visit Church of the Good Shepherd, watch the Sheep Dog Statue. You will be impressed by the majestic mountains. Here you can also appreciate the outstanding scenery of the highest peak in New Zealand - Mt Cook. If time and weather permits, you can get a clear aerial view of the Southern Alps. Then proceed to Twizel.

    You will leave Twizel and go to visit the Lake Benmore in the morning. Then continue the journey to Waitaki River to enjoy Oamaru, known by limestone. After that, you will head for Dunedin, a well-preserved Victorian city, and visit the famous historic house--Olveston House.

    If you go from Otago Peninsula to Larnach Castle, you will learn about the magic history of this castle. In Glenfalloch Woodland Gardens, you can enjoy bundles of flowers. Then leave Dunedin for Te Anau by way of Balclutha. If time permits, you can visit the Te Anau Glow Worm Caves in Te Anau.

    Today, you will drive to Milford Sound to visit the spectacular Bowen Falls by a luxury cruise ship and enjoy the Mitre Peak. Particularly, you will have a unique picnic lunch and then return to Te Anau in the afternoon.

    Te Anau - Queenstown

    First, you are going to visit Arrowtown, which was once an important gold washing place, and the Lakes District Museum. Then proceed to visit the beautiful Queenstown, which is surrounded by Southern Alps. Near the urban areas, there is a deep blue mountain lake--Lake Wakatipu, which is your next destination. In the evening, you will go to Walter Peak Farm by a steam ship along Lake Wakatipu. Upon arrival, you will have a rest and enjoy a delicious New Zealand meal in the Colonel house. After dinner, you can go walking for some time in the farm. Then transfer back to Queenstown by boat. During the way, you can enjoy elegant piano music.

    Pass By way of Haast Pass, you will reach the extremely beautiful West Coast. Then go to the Fox Glacier in the north. During the way, you can enjoy the snow-capped peaks of Southern Alps. If the weather allows, you can also overlook the spectacular glaciers and then head to Franz Josef.

    Franz Josef Glacier - Arthurs Pass - Christchurch

    Today, you will go to Hokitika to visit the Greenstone Factory. Then you will reach Arthur's Pass by Tranz Alpine, which is known as one of the worlds greatest journeys. After that, you will go through dense beech forest, during which you can enjoy the beautiful lakes and rivers all along the way. Then you will get to the center of the South Alps - Arthur’s Pass after going through Otira Tunnel. After watching the spectacular gorges, rivers and valleys, you will go back to Christchurch.
