The Chinese official language is Mandarin, but there are more than 80 different local languages and dialects coexisting in the country.

In China, marriage is considered to be one of the three most important things in one’s whole life. Traditionally, a whole wedding consists of 6 different steps in advance and then the wedding ceremony.

 Festivals 

Although the 55 minorities have their own festivals, there are some traditional and significant festivals celebrated by the Chinese nation annually, for example, the Spring Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival and the Mid-autumn Day.

 Population & Nationalities

Having the largest population of 1.3 billion people in the world, China also possesses of the most diversity cultures created by the populous Han nationality and the 55 ethnic minorities.

 Religions and Beliefs

The Taoism should be the authentic Chinese religion, but the exotic Buddhism, Islam, Christian and Catholicism have been spread widely in the country. Apart from them, most of the minorities still keep their primitive religions and beliefs.

 Traditional Medicine

Originated from the primitive society, the traditional Chinese medicine, which is totally different from the modern physic, mainly uses the various kinds of plants, animals and minerals.
