    Arrival in Budapest - Godollo - Eger

    Upon arrival in Budapest by air, you will then transfer to Godollo directly. Here you are going to visit the baroque Grassalkovich Palace, which is also known as Sisi Castle, mainly because it is the favorite summer palace of Queen Elisabeth of Hapsburg. Afterwards, you will drive to the picturesque Mátra Mountains, which is also the highest point of Hungary. After arriving at Eger, you will enjoy the perspective of some historic buildings like spire, castle and cathedral.

    Eger - Mezokovesd - Kecskemét

    Today’s tour will begin with the visit of Mezokovesd, the center of Matyo folk art, which is famous for its embroidery products. Then the next stop will be Kecskemét, where you may visit Cifra Palace, City Hall, Kodály Institute and Calvinist Church, etc.

    Kecskemét - Pécs

    Drive to Pécs in the morning, the cultural capital of Europe 2010. When walking around the city, you will visit the Catholic Church which used to be the mosque, cathedral, the Turkish fortress and the old Christian tombs with murals. Alternatively, you can also visit the numerous museums here.

    Pécs - Keszthely - Tihany

    Today, you will reach the Lake Balaton after going across the Hungary southeast mountain. Lake Balaton is the largest lake in the central Europe. With its inviting landscape of lakes and mountains, Lake Balaton has become world famous Hungary tourist attractions. The Hungarian takes pride of calling Balaton as “Hungary Sea”. After arrival, you will pay a visit to the famous Festetics Palace in Keszthely. Later on, you will head toward the peninsula of Tihany, where locates the monastery built in 1055.

    Balatonfüred - Pannonhalma - Budapest

    This morning, you will leave Lake Balaton for Pannonhalma by way of several towns. Here you are going to visit the monastery. Then return to Budapest, you will have some free time to tour around on your own, such like Hungarian National Museum, Buda Castle. Besides, the best view of the scenery of Budapest from above is the Fisherman’s Bastion located in Castle hill.

    Departure from Hungary

    There is no scheduled activity in the whole morning and you can make the arrangement by yourselves. You may make use of this time to do some shopping and select some gifts for your friends. After that, you will transfer to the airport by bus and take a flight departing from Hungary.
