Hi, my name is Taylah.Could you please give me information on people who actually went to war during the Qin Dynasty?Who were the soldiers in the Qin Dynasty?Thankyou so much if you could answer this!

    • Susan :2014/6/10 2:28:00

Qin had their own army, which were formed by young people. At that time, man over 17 years old needed to serve in the army for some time. They are the soldiers during the wars. If soldiers are not enough in the wars, local farmers as well as other residence would be forced to be in the war.

    • Lisa :2014/6/4 21:44:00

There are many wars during the Qin Dynasty, such as the battels between Huns in the northern part of China, the wars with people in the southwest part of China, the wars with other states before reunioning the country. All these wars were within China and most of them do not have a name.

did the qin dynasty have any type of police? or spys?

    • Juana :2014/5/23 4:54:00

Qin featured centralization and the main power was all handled by central government. There were some ministers playing the role as police: Lang Zhong Ling in charge of security matters and Ting Wei in charge of judicature and lawsuits.
