Tiananmen Square, Beijing

Day 01 - Entry Beijing

Upon arrival in Beijing, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.


Day 02 - Beijing

Your first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across the Tiananmen Square. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon, you will visit the amazing Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a renowned restaurant, followed by a fascinating Peking Opera performance. (B, L, D)


Day 03 - Beijing
It is a once in a life time experience to walk upon the Badaling Great Wall of China. To celebrate this historic visit, your lunch is specially arranged at a local popular Sichuan restaurant. Later you will visit the Ming Tomb. Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the Sacred Way. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. Day 04 - Beijing/ Xian

This morning you will marvel at the treasures of the Summer Palace and the Lama Temple. After lunch take a flight to Xian, and you will be met and transferred to the hotel. A luxurious buffet dinner will be served at your hotel. (B, L, D)

Note: Buffet dinner is served for Luxury series while Standard series will have the dinner on your own.


Day 05 - Xian
Today's highlight is a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have an a la carte lunch at a local famous restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Tonight you will enjoy the wonderful Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. (B, L, D)


Day 06 - Xian
This morning's tour features the Provincial History Museum. After enjoying the a la carte lunch at a local famous restaurant, visit a local family and the Great Mosque in the afternoon. (B, L)

Day 07 - Xian/ Lhasa

On the way to the airport, visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi, time permitting. Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be met and transferred to the downtown to check in at the hotel. For the first day in Lhasa, you are suggested to do as little as possible to give your bodies' time to adjust to the thin air. For dinner of this evening, you will enjoy the a la carte dishes at a finest Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B, D)


Day 08 - Lhasa

The day begins with a tour of the world famous Potala Palace. After that, you will visit Dalai Lamas' Summer Palace, Norbulingka and the exciting sutra-debating in the Sera Monastery. Surely, the day will not be complete without an approach to a Tibetan Family. You may enjoy tea and have a talk with the local Tibetans in their home. Dinner is served at the hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 09 - Lhasa

This morning you will visit the Jokhang Temple, a most sacred place for all Tibet pilgrims, surrounding the temple is the famous Barkhor Street. After lunch, you will go to the Tibet Museum. With interest, we also arrange a tour to the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the workshop of the Lhasa Carpet Factory for a visit of making traditional Tibetan carpets. The dinner is served at the hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 10 - Lhasa/ Chongqing
Take a flight to Chongqing and be met at the airport. You will be taken to the Chongqing Zoo to see the pandas if time is available. Before get on board the deluxe German-made China Regal cruise ship, you will enjoy a buffet dinner at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze Hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 11 - Chongqing/ Fengdu
Depart from Chongqing at 08:00 am to explore the Three Gorges downstream. The Cruise first stop at the Ghost City of Fengdu this afternoon. (B, L, D)
 
 
Day 12 - Badong/ Xiling Gorge/ Sandouping
Today, you will see all three gorges: the Qutang Gorge, the Wu Gorge and the Xiling Gorge. with their distinctive features. Stop at Badong, a small town, and then journey to the Shennong Stream, where you will ride a 'pea boat' up the small gorges against the rapid. (B, L, D)

Day 13 - Sandouping
This morning, conclude your Yangtze River adventure after a shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site.  (B, L, D)


Day 14 - Wuhan/ Shanghai
At 12:00 you will arrive in Wuhan. Check-out procedures will be announced and please follow the steps. Your guide will meet you on board and have a visit to the Hubei Provincial Museum. After having lunch at a local famous restaurant, see off for the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel. (B, L)


Day 15- Shanghai
You must see and experience Shanghai to appreciate its cosmopolitan flavor. Visit the treasures' displays in the Shanghai Museum and the unique architectures of the beautiful Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. Tonight, you will be invited to a Farewell Dinner served at the famous Wang Bao He restaurant in Central Hotel. Following the dinner is an exciting Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B, L, D)

Note: Huangpu River cruise is arranged in the Luxury series while you will have a family visit in Standard series.


Day 16 - Shanghai/ Guilin
Take a morning flight to Guilin, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon you will enjoy a leisure visit to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. After the dinner is served, you will be transferred to appreciate an Ethnic Minority Songs and Dances Show at the Lijiang Theater. The fascinating performance boasts a nice beginning for your Guilin tour. (B, L, D)

Day 17 - Guilin/ Yangshuo

Depart your hotel in the morning and drive to the Zhujiang Dock, where you will board your ship and start cruising on the beautiful Li River. Lunch is served on board (here Warrior Tours suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today since the cruise lunch may not meet your expectation.). Disembark your ship upon arrival at Yangshuo at about 14:00. After checking in at the hotel, we specially arrange you a bicycle trip to the countryside in Yangshuo and a visit to a local villager's home. If you feel tired, the electric car is offered for your option. (B, L)


Day 18 - Yangshuo/ Guilin/ Hongkong
The morning remains leisure on your own. Late in the afternoon, you will be transferred to Guilin airport for your flight to Hongkong. Upon arrival, please transfer to the hotel we booked for you on your own. (B)


Day 19 - Hongkong
The whole day activities will be arranged fully on your own. You are suggested to take the half-day Hongkong Island Tour. Peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District, then to the Victoria Peak, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen, Stanley Market. Remain afternoon free for your shopping. (B)


Day 20 - Exit Hongkong
Please arrange the hotel-airport transfer by yourself according to your home-forward flight schedule. (B)
