Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou

Day 01 - Entry Shanghai
Upon arrival in Shanghai, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Follow a walk around the pedestrian street, Nanjing Road and take you to visit the Bund area of Shanghai. Tonight, you will be invited to a welcome Dinner served at the famous Wang Bao He restaurant in Central Hotel. Following the dinner is an exciting Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (D)


Day 02 - Shanghai/ Suzhou
You must see and experience Shanghai to appreciate its cosmopolitan flavor. Visit the treasures' displays in the Shanghai Museum and the unique architectures of the beautiful Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. Boarding the soft seat train to Suzhou, be met and transferred to the well selected hotel. (B, L)

Note: Huangpu River cruise is arranged in the Luxury series while you will have a family visit in Standard series.


Day 03 - Suzhou/ Shanghai
The whole day city tour take you to the Tiger Hill, Humble Administrator's Garden and the Garden of the Master of the Nets. Go back to Shanghai by soft seat train and transfer to the hotel. (B, L)

Day 04 - Shanghai/ Wuhan
Before you take a flight to Wuhan, a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple is scheduled. Upon arrival in Wuhan, you will be met and transferred to visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Your dinner will be served at a local restaurant. After that, you will get on board the German-made cruise ship, which begins sailing at 19:00. (B, L, D)

Day 06 - Sandouping
Today your stop is to take a shore excursion around the Three Gorges Dam Site to view the progress of the Three Gorges Dam. Then the cruise will get in line to pass the five-level ship lock. (B, L, D)

 

 

Disembark at Badong and take a small pea boat along Shennong Stream to enjoy the marvelous spectacles of the nature. (B, L, D)

 

 

Wake up early for a trip to Wanxian, and you will have a visit to the local market and the youth acrobatic show. Then back to the cruise ship. You may find leisure onboard for the rest of the day. (B, L, D)

 

 

The cruise is expected in Chongqing at 10:00. Get prepared to disembark. Your guide will meet you on board and transfer you to visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell. After enjoy a rich buffet lunch at the 4-star hotel, Holiday Inn Yangtze,  take a flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the Ethnic Minority Songs and Dances at the Lijiang Theater after the dinner is served. The fascinating performance boasts a nice beginning for your Guilin tour. (B, L, D)


Day 10 - Guilin/ Yangshuo/ Guilin
Depart your hotel in the morning and drive to the Zhujiang Dock, where you will board your ship and start cruising on the beautiful Li River. Lunch is served on board. (Here Warrior Tours suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today since the cruise lunch may not meet your expectation.) Disembark your ship upon arrival at Yangshuo at about 14:00. To make your trip much more entertaining, we specially arrange you a bicycle trip to the countryside in Yangshuo and a visit to a local villager's home. If you feel tired, the electric car is offered for your option. After that you will be back to Guilin by car. (B, L)


Day 11- Guilin/ Xian
After your breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a leisure visit to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Late in the afternoon take a flight to Xian. You will be met and transferred to well selected hotel. This evening you are feasted with a luxurious buffet dinner at your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 12 - Xian
Today's highlight is a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a local famous restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Tonight you will enjoy the wonderful Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. (B, L, D)

Day 13 - Xian
This morning's tour features the Provincial History Museum. After your a la carte lunch served at a famous Cantonese restaurant, you will continue to visit a local family and the Great Mosque on the bustling Muslim area. Near the mosque is a lively bazaar, where you will enjoy some free time. For dinner of this evening we would like to leave it on your own so that you could have a chance to taste the local flavor. You may get suggestions from your local guide. (B, L)

Day 14 - Xian/ Lhasa
On the way to the airport, visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi. Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be met and transferred to the downtown to check in at the hotel. For the first day in Lhasa, you are suggested to do as little as possible to give your bodies' time to adjust to the thin air. For dinner of this evening, you will enjoy the a la carte dishes at a finest Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B, L, D)


Day 15 - Lhasa
The day begins with a tour of the world famous Potala Palace. After that, you will visit Dalai Lamas' Summer Palace, Norbulingka and the exciting sutra-debating in the Sera Monastery. The dinner is served at the hotel. (B, L, D)

Praying Tibetans around the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, Tibet

Day 16 - Lhasa
This morning you will visit the Jokhang Temple, a most sacred place for all Tibet pilgrims, surrounding the temple is the famous Barkhor Street. After lunch, you will go to the Tibet Museum. With interest, we also arrange a tour to the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the workshop of the Lhasa Carpet Factory for a visit of making traditional Tibetan carpets. The dinner is served at the hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 17 - Lhasa/ Beijing
Your Lhasa tour will be wrapped up with a visit to a Tibetan family in the morning, and then take a flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. (B, L)

 

Day 18 - Beijing
Your first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across the Tiananmen Square. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon, you will visit the amazing Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a renowned restaurant, followed by a fascinating Peking Opera performance. (B, L, D)

 

Day 19 - Beijing
It is a once in a life time experience to walk upon the Badaling Great Wall of China. To celebrate this historic visit, your lunch is specially arranged at a local popular Sichuan restaurant. Later you will visit the Ming Tomb. Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the Sacred Way. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. Day 20 - Exit Beijing
This morning, you will marvel at the treasures of the Summer Palace. Upon completion of you memorable China tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home today. (B)
