6 Days Tour of Vietnam: Ha Noi - Ha Long - Ho Chí Minh City

 Day 01: Arrival in Vietnam
You will arrive in the capital of Vietnam - Ha Noi, a famous historical city in Vietnam. The city has the reputation of "site of one-thousand-year cultural relics" because of its rich historical relics and historic interest. Upon arrival, you will take a shuttle bus to check in the hotel and have a good rest to recover from the jet lag.


 Day 02: Ha Noi – Ha Long
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Hanoi west lake, known as the largest lake in Hanoi. West Lake has been a summer resort palace for the former royals and dignitaries. A number of palaces were built around the lake. Then, proceed to visit the Hoan Kiem Lake, which is the most famous lake among numerous ones of different sizes in Hanoi. Afterwards, you will visit the One Pillar Pagoda which is supported by a single pillar, the largest city square in Vietnam, the ‘heart of Vietnam’ - Ba Dinh Square and the Military Museum in order. In the afternoon, you will travel to the Ha Long Bay.

 
 Day 03: Ha Long
Today’s tour will take you to visit the Ha Long Bay, which is listed as the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Ha Long Bay is very large. More than 1600 stone forests and stone islands spread in Ha Long Bay, you will bypass them by boat and experience the uncanny craftsmanship of the Mother Nature. After lunch, you will embark on an island and appreciate the natural cockfight stone, sailing stone and the stalactite wonders in Thien Cung from a very close distance.


 Day 04: Ha Long — Ha Noi — Ho Chi Minh City
Return to Hanoi by bus. After a short break, you will transfer to airport and fly to Ho Chi Minh City, which is the largest city in Vietnam and formerly known as "Saigon". Ho Chi Minh City, named as ‘the Small Paris of the East’, was a French colony, so there are many French style buildings. Upon arrival, you will check in and rest in the hotel.


 Day 05: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh City
Today, you will head for My Tho, which is a countryside water village in the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, you will first take a boat trip on the famous Mekong River, the longest river in Southeast Asia. You will also visit the well known Tarzan Island, a paradise island of fruit. Here, you can enjoy the sing and dance show and visit and an orchard, or appreciate the beauty of Vietnam’s rivers and lakes by canoe. Return to Ho Chi Minh City after lunch. Upon arrival, the following sites will be arranged in sequence: the century old notre-dame-cathedral, which is known as the ‘red church’, the French Post Office, the Lam Son Square and the century-old Thean Hou Temple. Afterwards, you will move to visit the Ho Chi Minh City Hall. Some free time will be left for you to purchase souvenirs after lunch. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner on boat on the Saigon River. After dinner, visitors can enjoy the wonderful performance and appreciate the fascinating night scene of the Saigon River.


 Day 06: Departure from Vietnam
After breakfast, you will take a taxi to get to the airport and board the homebound flight. The pleasant Vietnam tours put an end here.
