Summer Palace, Beijing

Day 01 - Entry Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.


Day 02 - Beijing

Your first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across the Tiananmen Square. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon, you will visit the amazing Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a renowned restaurant, followed by a fascinating Peking Opera performance. (B, L, D)


Day 03 - Beijing
It is a once in a life time experience to walk upon the Badaling Great Wall of China. To celebrate this historic visit, your lunch is specially arranged at a local popular Sichuan restaurant. Later you will visit the Ming Tomb. Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the Sacred Way. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. (B, L, D)

Note: A la carte dinner is served for Luxury series while Standard series will have the dinner on your own.

Day 04 - Beijing/ Xian

This morning you will marvel at the treasures of the Summer Palace and the lovely Pandas in Beijing Zoo. After lunch take a flight to Xian, and you will be met and transferred to the hotel. A luxurious buffet dinner will be served at your hotel. (B, L, D)

Note: Buffet dinner is served for Luxury series while Standard series will have the dinner on your own.


Day 05 - Xian
Today's highlight is a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have an a la carte lunch at a local famous restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Tonight you will enjoy the wonderful Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. (B, L, D)


Day 06 - Xian
This morning's tour features the Provincial History Museum. After enjoying the a la carte lunch at a local famous restaurant, visit a local family and the Great Mosque in the afternoon. (B, L)


Day 07 - Xian/ Lhasa
On the way to the airport, visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi, time permitting. Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be met and transferred to the downtown to check in at the hotel. For the first day in Lhasa, you are suggested to do as little as possible to give your bodies' time to adjust to the thin air. For dinner of this evening, you will enjoy the a la carte dishes at a finest Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B, D)



Sutra-debating in Sera Monastery, Lhasa

Day 08 - Lhasa

The day begins with a tour of the world famous Potala Palace. After that, you will visit Dalai Lamas' Summer Palace, Norbulingka and the exciting sutra-debating in the Sera Monastery and a Tibetan Family. The dinner is served at the hotel. (B, L, D)


 

Day 09 - Lhasa

This morning you will visit the Jokhang Temple, a most sacred place for all Tibet pilgrims, surrounding the temple is the famous Barkhor Street. After lunch, you will go to the Tibet Museum. With interest, we also arrange a tour to the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the workshop of the Lhasa Carpet Factory for a visit of making traditional Tibetan carpets. The dinner is served at the hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 10 - Lhasa/ Gyangtse
Drive to Gyangtse. Visit the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain on the way. After check in at the hotel, visit the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 11 - Gyangtse/ Shigatse
Transfer to Shigatse and check in at the hotel. Visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 12 - Shigatse/ Dingri
Continue your Tibet adventure to Dingri and check in at the hotel. Visit the Sakya Monastery and Lhatse city on the way. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B, L, D)


 

Day 13 - Dingri/ Everest Base Camp/ Dingri 
Experience further of Tibet into the Everest Base Camp and visit Rongbuk Monastery. Return to Dingri. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 14 - Dingri/ Zhangmu
Transfer to Zhangmu and check in at the hotel. Dinner is served at your hotel. (B, L, D)



Ngari scenery, Tibet

Day 15 - Zhangmu/ Katmandu
Drive to the Kodari (Friendship Bridge) of the border. Our guide will pick you up at the Kodari of the Nepal side. Transfer to the hotel in Katmandu. (B, L)


Day 16 - Katmandu
Visit Katmandu Durbar Square, the Swayambhunath Pagoda, the Buddhanikantha Temple and the Bouddhanath Stupa. (B, L)


Day 17 - Katmandu
Visit Pashupatinath Temple, the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar Square and the Golden Temple, one of the most famous Vihar in Katmandu valley. (B, L)

Day 18 - Exit Katmandu
Upon completion of you memorable tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home today. (B)
