Day 01 - Entry Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.

Day 02 - Beijing
Your first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across the Tiananmen Square. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon, you will visit the amazing Temple of Heaven. (B, L)


Day 03 - Beijing
It is a once in a life time experience to walk upon the Badaling Great Wall of China. To celebrate this historic visit, your lunch is specially arranged at a local popular Sichuan restaurant. Later you will visit the Ming Tomb. Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the Sacred Way. (B, L)


Day 04 - Beijing
The whole day activities will be arranged fully on your own. (B)


Day 05 - Beijing/ Xian
Morning is free. Today you will marvel at the treasures of the Summer Palace, the Lama Temple and the lovely Pandas in Beijing Zoo. After that, board on the overnight soft sleeper train to Xian. (B, D)

Day 06 - Xian
Arrival in Xian in the morning and be met at the railway station. After having breakfast at the hotel, focus your today's highlight visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provincial History Museum. (B, L)

Day 07 - Xian
The whole day activities will be arranged fully on your own. You are suggested to visit the City Wall, the Great Mosque and have an exploration to the Muslim Bazaar nearby on your own. (B)


Day 08 - Xian/ Lhasa/ Tsetang
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lhasa on your own. You are suggested to take a shuttle bus to the airport and the bus stop is very near to your hotel. Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Tsetang. For the first day in Tibet, you are suggested to do as little as possible to give your bodies' time to adjust to the thin air. (B)

Day 09 - Tsetang/ Lhasa

Take car to the bank of the Yarlung Tsangpo River and be transferred to visit the Samye Monastery by ferry. Be driven to Lhasa and check in at the hotel. (B, L)

Day 10 - Lhasa
The day begins with a tour of the world famous Potala Palace. After that, you will visit Dalai Lamas' Summer Palace, Norbulingka and the exciting sutra-debating in the Sera Monastery. (B, L)

Day 11 - Lhasa
This morning you will visit the Jokhang Temple, a most sacred place for all Tibet pilgrims, surrounding the temple is the famous Barkhor Street. After lunch, you will go to the Tibet Museum. With interest, we also arrange a tour to the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and the workshop of the Lhasa Carpet Factory for a visit of making traditional Tibetan carpets. (B, L )


Day 12 - Lhasa/ Shangri-La

Your mysterious Lhasa tour will not be complete without an approach to a Tibetan Family this morning. Take a flight to Shangri-La. Be met and transferred to the hotel. (B, L)

 

An excited tour to Bita Lake, the Shudu Lake and Songzanlin Monastery will await you today. (B, L)

 

Day 14 - Shangri-La/ Lijiang
Have a whole day sightseeing to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the First Bend of the Yangtze River and the Stone Drum Town. You will be enchanted by the picturesque scenic at your first sight. (B, L)

 

Make further exploration to the city. After visiting the Baisha Village and the Baisha Murals, you will pay a visit to a Naxi family and have a real contiguity with the local residents. Then go ahead to the Yuhu Village to visit the Rock Joseph's Former Residence. Afternoon is free for you. (B, L)

Day 16 - Lijiang

Today you may have a chance to explore the city on your own leisure. Lijiang is an ancient town as well as being a Historical and Cultural Heritage in China. It is the center of the Naxi people, a relatively small minority group with a rich culture. (B)

 

 

You will take a flight back to Kunming. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy a leisure visit to the Stone Forest and the Flowers and Birds Market. (B, L)

Day 18 - Kunming/ Chongqing
Take a flight to Chongqing. Visit the Panda House in Chongqing Zoo and and the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell. Your memorable Yangtze River tour begins at 22:00 as you board the luxurious the ship. (B, L)

Day 19 - Fengdu
At about 08:30, disembark for an excursion to the Ghost City of Fengdu. The Captain's Welcome Party will be held this evening. (B, L, D)


Day 20 - Badong (Shennong Stream)/ Xiling Gorge/ Sandouping
Visit Badong and take a small junk to enjoy the marvelous spectacles of the nature in the Shennong Stream. Continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. (B, L, D)

Day 21 - Yichang/ Shanghai
Disembark for an excursion to the under constructed Three Gorges Dam. After lunch, pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. The ship arrives in Yichang at about 13:00. Visit the Yichang Museum if time is available. Take a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, please transfer to the hotel we booked for you on your own. (B, L)
