Day 07: Helsingborg - Lund - Karlshamn - Vaxjo
In the morning, you are going to visit the magnificent Lund Cathedral in 12th century. The astronomical clock in it can date back to 1424. Then you will go through Blekinge province, which has name of Garden of Sweden, to Karshamn for a visit of Emigrant Monument. After that, you can take a rest to go shopping by yourselves. In the afternoon, you will move forward to Vaxjo to visit the museums here. The rest of the time is free on your own.
Day 08: Vaxjo - Langasjo - Kosta Boda - Orrefors - Soderakra
Drive along the Emigrant Trail, you will get to Langasjo and visit the museums. Later, you will go to see the Kosta Boda glassworks which has 268 years history, and then visit world famous Orrefors glass factory. After that, you will continue the journey to Soderakra in the coast of the Baltic Sea.
Day 09: Soderakra - Kalmar - Oskarshamn - Eksjo
First of all, you will look around in Kalmar Castle, constructed in 13th century, which was once a significant defensive fortress and also used to be prison and storage. And now, it is one of the best preserved castles in Renaissance. Then, drive northward to Oskarshamn along the coast to visit Axel Paterson Woodcarving Museum there. After that, you will move on to Eksio and tour around this ancient town in 17th century on foot. The ancient city was once burned down by Dane in 1568 and rebuilt in 1569 later.
Day 10: Eksjo - Huskvarna - Granna - Bergs Slussar - Stockholm
The morning tour will take you to visit the Huskvarna Museum which is famous for its collected weapons. After that, you will get to Granna village along the coast by way of beautiful Lake Vattern. Upon arrival, you are going to visit the candy shops and glassworks there. And on the way to Stockholm, you will stop at Berg Locks for a short visit. You will arrive in Stockholm in a later time.
Day 11: Stockholm
Have a whole day trip in Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden. You will have a visit in the town hall, Wasa Ship Museum, Embassy Row and so on. Enjoy your free time in the afternoon.
Day 12: Stockholm
The whole day will be free on your own and you can arrange the activities by yourselves. It is recommended for you to visit some museums and see the historical relics in the old town. With a history of more than 700 years, the old town is well kept since it has never been destroyed in war. There are buildings in the middle ages decorated by wooded sculptures and stone carving, and also narrow streets. These contribute to the appearance of an ancient town, thus attracts lots of visitors from all over the world. There are also some other architectures nearby, such as the lofty palaces, Nicolas Church, government building, etc.
Day 13: Departure from Sweden
After breakfast, you will travel to the airport and take a flight flying back home.
