Day 01: Arrival in Sweden - Skokloster - Uppsala
After arrival at Arlanda International Airport of Stockholm by air in the early morning, you will drive to visit the beautiful Skokloster Castle. Built in the middle of 17th century and constructed for 12 years, it is the biggest castle in Sweden which still preserves the most numerous armors in 17th century in the world. The castle is full of baroque decorations, furniture, cortical wallpaper, oil painting, ornaments and so on. In the following, you will go to Uppsala to visit the Uppsala Cathedral built in 1260, which is the biggest cathedral in Scandinavia. After the visit, you will transfer to check in the hotel.
Day 02: Uppsala - Avesta - Sundborn - Falun - Rattvik
Today you will travel in the province of Dalarna. First, you will head to Avesta to visit the world’s biggest pure handmade Dala Horse, which weighs 67 tons with a height of 43 feet. Then proceed to Sundborn village to see its beautiful houses and the workrooms of two artists--Carl and Karin Larsson. After that, you will transfer to Falun by bus to visit the Falun Copper Mine which has been mined for 700 years since the year of 1288. In the end, you will take a ride to Rattvik.
Day 03: Rattvik - Nusnas - Mora - Rattvik
First of all, you will go to Lake Siljan where Midsummer Day, the biggest festival in Sweden, will be held near the lake each year. The scenery here is extremely splendid. Then you will visit the wooden Rattvik Church which has a history of hundred-year, and also go to Dala Horse factory in Nusnas to learn how those craftsmen make dala horse in a short time. Later, you will move on to Mora which is the hometown of the world famous artist Anders Zorn. Here you are going to visit the related spots. Then, return to Rattvik afterwards.
Day 04: Rattvik - Sunnemo - Medskog - Ransater - Karlshamn
Today, you will leave the beautiful Lake Siljan for Sunnemo village where you can enjoy the traditional delicious Varmland food. Then go to have a short trip in Ransater and visit its museum in the open air. After that, you will move on to Karlshamn.
Day 05: Karlshamn - Sjotorp - Asle Ta - Habo - Gothenburg
Drive to the south to Lake Vanern and Gota Canal in Sjotorp in the morning. Then you will go to Asle Ta which has well preserved villages between 19th and 20th century. After that, you will proceed to Lake Vattern to see the beautiful Habo Church, which is famous for the Bible mural painting in it. Later, you will go along the West Coast to Gothenburg, the second biggest city in Sweden.
Day 06: Gothenburg - Varberg - Helsingborg
As you drive through Gothenburg this morning enjoy the highlights of this lively west coast city founded in 1621. Travel to the province of Halland and the small town of Varberg chartered in 1100. Once described as the least appealing place in Sweden, Varberg’s beautiful sandy beaches have now earned it the nickname of the “Swedish Riviera.” In Helsingborg take a stroll on the walking street or take in the view across the Öresund Strait to Denmark and Kronborg Castle (Elsinore - the home of Shakespeare’s Hamlet) at Helsingør. Perhaps investigate the Kärnan tower, Helsingborgs most famous landmark, which has guarded the city for over 600 years.
