Day 07: Costa del Sol
The whole day is free for you to enjoy the sunshine and beach. You can also go to tour around Morocco if you like, which is just across the Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea from Spain.
Day 08: Granada
Travel to Granada in the morning. Granada is an attractive city and you will be relaxed when rambling around. The biggest Moorish fortress of Spain is in Granada. You will go to the world-renowned Alhambra Palace, which means “red fortress” in Arabic language. It is the essence of all historic remains left by Moors and also the peak work of Moorish art. People crowned its beauty by “city of palace” and “world wonder”.
Day 09: Valencia
On the way to Valencia, you will first stop by Guadix, a town in Andalusia, with many people living in underground caverns. Then you will head to Valencia, the third largest city in Spain. Valencia is next to the ocean in the east, and on the back are vast plains. The climate here is quite pleasant and it is called as the “Granary of Spain” by people.
Day 10: Valencia
You will spend the whole day visiting Valencia. You can go to visit the Fallas Museum and the City of Arts and Sciences full of modern atmosphere. Then you will also visit the Monastery of Saint John of the Kings and Valencia Bullring to get a better understanding of Roman and Moorish history.
Day 11: Barcelona
Along the Mediterranean coastline to the north, you will pass Peniscola and visit the fortresses built during 13th century and 15th century. Then you will continue your journey to Barcelona and check in a hotel after arrival.
Day 12: Barcelona
Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain. Many Spanish artists were born in Barcelona, such as Picasso and Dali. It is the most Europeanized metropolitan in Iberian Peninsula and regarded as the “pearl of Iberian Peninsula”. You will first head to visit the Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family, one of the most mysterious buildings in the world and also the most majestic and famous attraction in Barcelona. Then proceed to visit the Columbus Monument and the stadiums where the 1992 Summer Olympic Games were held. The afternoon tour will take you to visit Montserrat.
Day 13: Departure from Spain
In the morning, you will ramble over the busy Rambla Street, a long and winded pedestrian street passing through the whole old town, and connects the Catalonian Square in the downtown with ocean. You will also have a chance to purchase some gift for your family or friends here. After that, you will transfer to the airport by bus according to your international flight schedule and leave the beautiful country by air.
