Day 08: Plettenberg Bay
Take a flight to Gorge City and then transfer to Plettenberg Bay in the morning. It is the first site on which Europeans set foot in Africa, once a widely-known whaling town. If lucky enough, you will see whales and dolphins. From June to November each year, huge crowds of Antarctic right whales rush to coast of Cape Town in escape of the extreme coldness on Antarctic Continent. Here they mate, reproduce, which make a magnificence scene. Along the way you will tour Monkeyland and Birds of Eden Sanctuary.
Day 09: Plettenberg Bay
The whole day will be free on your own. You can tour around and get a profound appreciation of the charm of sand beach here.
Day 10: Plettenberg Bay
You will plan to take a pleasure-boat cruise according to the weather condition. In particular during June and November every year, you can have the chance to get close touch with whales. In the afternoon, you will go to Knysna Elephant Sanctuary. Inside the Reserve you can walk through the famous Knysna Forest and have an intimate contact with elephants as well as close watch of them. After that you will go back to Plettenberg Bay.
Day 11: Cape Town
Today’s tour will begin with the visit of Coastal City of Mossel Bay. The city once was the site on which Portugal Adventurer Dias first landed in Africa. After arrival you will visit Dias Musium and Milkwood Tree that was regarded as “mailbox” by sailors in 16th century. Then proceed to visit the Drostdy Museum. At last you will head back to Cape Town, the Mother City of South Africa.
Day 12: Cape Town
Today, you will first ride to visit the grand Chapman’s Peak. Then have a tour in Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Established in 1939, the Reserve is fresh in air, and green in trees and plants. In it there are over 1200 species of plants and animals, like baboons, Cape zebras, Cape foxes, antelopes, and over 250 species of birds such as ostriches, sunbirds, black hawks, albatrosses, cormorants, and many other rare ones. It’s thus reputed as one of the most beautiful scenic spots in the world. On the way back to Cape Town, you will have a close touch of African penguins at Boulders Beach.
Day 13: Cape Town
The morning tour will take you to visit the Two Oceans Aquarium. The Anquarium is a world-noted one located in Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa. It consists of 7 exhibit halls and is one of the best aquariums of Africa, even of the world. The Two Oceans Aquarium is no doubt one of the most eye-catching tourist spots in Cape Town, especially for those kids, its “attractive power” is extremely enormous. After the visit there, you will then tour around Table Mountain. On the top of the mountain, you can get an overall view of the busy work at the port, with sea views near and far all in your eyes.
Day 14: Departure from South Africa
In the morning you will fly back home at Cape Town Airport. This journey of South Africa is certain to be the most memorable days in your lifetime.
