Day 01 - Entry BeijingUpon arrival in Beijing, you are met and transferred to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.
Day 02 - BeijingYour first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across the
Tiananmen Square. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled
Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon, you will visit the amazing
Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a renowned restaurant, followed by a fascinating Peking Opera performance. (B, L, D)
Day 03 - BeijingIt is a once in a life time experience to walk upon the
Badaling Great Wall of China. To celebrate this historic visit, your lunch is specially arranged at a local popular Sichuan restaurant. Later you will visit the
Ming Tomb. Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the
Sacred Way. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. (B, L, D)
Note: A la carte dinner is served for Luxury series while Standard series will have the dinner on your own.
Day 04 - Beijing
This morning you will marvel at the treasures of the
Summer Palace. After lunch have a visit to the
Lama Temple and the lovely
Pandas in
Beijing Zoo. (B, L)
Day 05 - Beijing/ DunhuangYou will take a morning flight to Dunhuang. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Then you will experience a short
camel-riding along the
Echoing-Sand Dune to reach the
Crescent Lake and have a visit to the
Dunhuang Museum. (B, L)
Day 06 - Dunhuang/ Xian Today you will follow a tour to the highlight of Dunhuang city,
Mogao Grottoes. Then take a flight to Xian and transfer to the
hotel where a luxurious buffet dinner will be served. (B, L, D)
Note: Buffet dinner is served for Luxury series while Standard series will have the dinner on your own.
Day 07 - XianToday's highlight is a visit to the
Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a local famous restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the
Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient
City Wall. Tonight you will enjoy the wonderful
Tang Dynasty Dinner Show.(B, L, D)
Day 08 - XianThis morning's tour features the
Provincial History Museum. After a la cart lunch at a local famous restaurant, have a visit to the
Great Mosque and
a local family. (B, L)
Day 09 - Xian/ Shanghai
Visit the
Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport. After lunch, take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. (B, L)
Day 10 - ShanghaiYou must see and experience Shanghai to appreciate its cosmopolitan flavor. Visit the treasures' displays in the
Shanghai Museum and the unique architectures of the beautiful
Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the
Huangpu River. Tonight, you will be invited to a Farewell Dinner served at the famous Wang Bao He restaurant in Central Hotel. Following the dinner is an exciting
Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B, L, D)
Note: Huangpu River cruise is arranged in the Luxury series while you will have a family visit in Standard series.
Day 11 - Exit Shanghai
Upon completion of you memorable China tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home today (B)
