12 Days Travel of New Zealand: Auckland - Roturua - Wellington - Christchurch - Queenstown - Dunedin - Christchurch 

Departure: Daily

 Day 01: Arrival in Auckland
After arriving in Auckland by air, you will transfer to check in the hotel. Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand as well as the industrial, commercial and economic center of this country.

 Day 02: Auckland - Waitomo Caves - Rotorua
Across the rugged volcanic zone of Maku mountains and go through the beautiful Feizelade woodland, you will head to the Waitomo Caves, drifting in the underground river by boat and enjoy the millions of fireflies on the top of head, just like the little stars in the Milky Way galaxy. In the evening you will travel to the Te Puia Maori Cultural Village at Rotorua to enjoy a traditional culture night. You will have a chance to taste the fine food baked on hot stones of traditional Maori earth oven, and enjoy a good dinner time.

 Day 03: Rotorua
You will go to Te Puia Maori Spa Park to see the boiling hot springs and mud pools. After that proceed to the famous love Gordon farm and watch the shearing show, and then go to the Rainbow Spring to watch the trout and other wildlife. 

 Day 04: Rotorua - Wellington
After leaving Rotorua, you will head southward through New Zealand's largest inland Lake the lake Taupo and Tongariro National Park. Finally you will reach the New Zealand capital - Wellington.

 Day 05: Wellington - Picton - Kaikoura
In the morning you will take inter-island ferry, travel through the Cook Strait, arrive in the Picton and then transfer to Tranz Coastal train and reach Kaikoura.

 Day 06: Kaikoura - Christchurch
This morning you will take the whale watching boat, then head to Christchurch by coach in the afternoon. 

 Day 07: Christchurch - Greymouth - West Coast
You will take one of the world's most beautiful highland scenery trains, which belongs to Tranz Alpine Train Company. You will travel across the spectacular canyons and valleys, across the southern mountains of the Arthurs Pass National Park, through the lush beech forest, and finally reach Greymouth in the West Coast. Then continue to go south along the coast line. At last, you will get to the western Tai Poutini National Park and West Coast.

 Day 08: West Coast - Queenstown
In the morning you will pass through the western Tai Poutini National Park, Mount Aspiring National Park and the rugged Haast Pass as well as Lake Wanaka. In the afternoon you will arrive at Queenstown after going through the Kawarau Gorge.

 Day 09: Queenstown
The whole day will be free for you to choose your favorite activities. Queenstown offers boat tours, lake cruises, bungee jumping, raft drifting, horse riding, cable cars and many other activities.

 Day 10: Queenstown - Taieri Gorge Railway - Dunedin
The morning is free on your own. In the afternoon, you will take a coach to Pekerangi, where you can take the great gorge train and get to Dunedin finally after passing through the spectacular Taieri Gorge, going across the viaduct, and hand-carved tunnels with a history of more than 100-year-old. 

 Day 11: Dunedin - Christchurch
The morning tour will take you to visit the Oamaru and Timaru. Then you will travel across the Canterbury Plains and reach Christchurch.

 Day 12: Departure from Christchurch
After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport and depart by international flight.
