5 Days Trip of Nepal: Katmandu - Nagarkot


Departure: Daily

 Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu
Depart for Kathmandu via air, the capital city of Nepal. Upon arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you will take the bus to transfer to the hotel. After check-in, a brief meeting will let you know the itinerary about this trip. Then the rest of the time is free for you to make the arrangement on your own.

 Day 02: Katmandu - Nagarkot
After breakfast, you will head to Katmandu Valley, the important religious center in Nepal, and visit Pashupatinath that is considered as one of the holiest shrines of all the Hindu temples. On the banks of the Bagmati, you may witness Nepalese cremation. Then visit Boudhananth, a landmark of Nepal. After that, you will move on to the old town of Bhaktapur, which is the best-preserved one in Kathmandu Valley. Before dark, on the way to Nagarkot, you will have chance to appreciate the sun sinking behind the Himalayas.

 Day 03: Nagarkot - Katmandu
Get up early in the morning, and appreciate the beauty of the sunrise. After breakfast, you will have a short tour in the Katmandu Valley to visit the Katmandu Durbar Square, which is recognized by the United Nations as a World Cultural Heritage. Some of the important temples can be seen here, such as the Kumari Temple and Swayambhunath, one of the oldest holy places in Asia. After that, transfer to Patan to visit the Krishna Mandir. You can taste a wide variety of Nepalese foods at dinner. Then return to the hotel in Kathmandu for rest.

 Day 04: Katmandu
Today, you can look around in the ancient religious city on your own, exploring the places you are interested in and experiencing the mysterious exotic culture.

 Day 05: Departure from Katmandu
You are scheduled for free activities this morning. You can make use of this free time to buy some local specialty and souvenirs. After that, you will be transferred to the airport for departure flight home.
