5 Days Trip of Myanmar: Yangon - Bagan - Mandalay

Day 01: Arrival in Myanmar
You will arrive in Yangon by plane, the former capital of Myanmar. Upon arrival, you will visit Chaukhtutgyi Pagoda, in which there is a white reclining Buddha of 54 meters high. Then you will walk to visit buildings left in colonial period and other historical sites. Next you will drive to visit the Shwedagon Pagoda. It is the most sacred pagoda in Myanmar because the relics of four Buddhas are enshrined and worshiped in it, including the staff that had detained kakusandha, the water purifier of Konagamana, the robe of Kassapa and eight hairs of Buddha Sakyamuni. In the evening, you can enjoy the local traditional performance at dinner time.
Day 02: Yangon - Bagan
Today, you will take a flight to Bagan, which is a historical city, a Buddhist cultural site and a famous tourist attraction in Myanmar. First, you will visit the local market here to experience local people’s life. Then, proceed to visit the famous Shwezigon Pagoda in Bagan. Afterwards, you will pay a visit to the Sulamani Temple built in 1181. In addition, you will visit the most magnificent Dhamanyangyi Temple existed in Myanmar. A visit to Myinkaba village will be arranged following and you can learn more about the local traditional craftsmanship here. After that, you will move to visit the Gubyaukgyi Temple and Manuha Temple to appreciate the earliest mural painting. At dusk, you will appreciate the Lawkananda Tower and sunset by Ayeyarwaddy River.
Day 03: Bagan - Mandalay
In the morning, you will fly to Mandalay, the second largest city of Myanmar. Upon arrival, you will visit the Mandalay Palace, the only remaining Monastery Shwenandaw and the famous Kuthodaw Pagoda for its possession of the hugest book in the world. Then you will visit household handicraft workshops, such as gold leaf production and brocade embroidery. After that, you will continue to visit Mahagandayon Monastery, which is the most largest monk school in the world, then walk through the U Bein Bridge with over 140 years history. At last, you will visit some works of handicraft producers and their creative condition. The last stop today is Mahamuni Pagoda that owns the most important Buddha statue in Mandalay.
Day 04: Mandalay - Yangon
First, you will head for Kywezon Jetty and take a ferryboat to go to the ancient city Mingon along the Irrawaddy River. After arrival, you will firstly visit Mingon Bell, known as the biggest bell in the world. Then proceed to visit Mingon Pagoda that is the biggest and unfinished pagoda in the world and Myatheintan Pagoda with extremely special appearance. Later, you will return to Mandalay and then fly back to Yangon.
Day 05: Departure from Myanmar
Today is the last day in Yangon, you will first visit the National Museum to learn about the history of Myanmar. Then the rest of the time is free at your leisure, you can purchase the souvenirs in the local famous Scotch Market. In the evening, you will be transferred to the airport and leave from Myanmar by plane.
