12 Days Tour of Germany: Frankfurt - River Rhine - Cologne - Hamburg - Berlin - Dresden - Modlareuth - Bayreuth - Nuremberg - Rothenburg - Munich - Dachau - Donauschingen - Heidelberg - Baden-Baden - Frankfurt

Departure: Daily


 Day 07: Dresden - Modlareuth - Bayreuth - Nuremberg
The first destination today is the open-air museum in Modlareuth. Then proceed to Bayreuth to visit the Wagner Festival Theater. After that, you will head to Nuremberg, which is known as the “Toy City in the world”. Upon arrival, you will visit several spots here, such as the St. Sebald’s Cathedral. As the “Toy City”, you will also have a chance to look around at the local toy markets.


 Day 08: Nuremberg - Rothenburg - Munich
The morning tour will take you to visit the chocolatebox town in Rothenburg. You will visit many unique buildings along the street on foot. Afterwards, you will head for Munich, the capital city of Bavarian and one of the most important cities in Germany. After arriving there, you will visit the Olympic Stadium followed by Ludwigstrasse and Marienplatz.


 Day 09: Munich
As one of the most prosperous cities in Germany or even Europe, Munich has a long history and lots of historical sites. The whole day today will be free for you to make arrangement by yourselves. You may tour around Munich on your own. It is recommended for you to have a visit of the most attractive museum in Munich and the Alte Pinakothek where you can find many art treasures of Europe. Or pay a visit to the most famous architecture in Munich--Our Lady of the church, also called Munich Cathedral. In addition, Asam-Kirche is also a good choice for you to visit. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Germany and known as the “secret capital of Germany”. 


 Day 10: Munich - Dachau - Donauschingen
First you will drive to Dachau today. This beautiful town was the location of concentration camp and hundreds of thousands of people were killed here in World War II. Then you will move to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle, also called Snow White Castle, which is one of the most famous and splendid castles in Germany. It is the symbol of Germany and the prototype of Disney castle.


 Day 11: Donauschingen - Heidelberg - Frankfurt
Today, you will first head to Baden-Baden, which is a famous hot spring town known as the “gateway to the Black Forest”. Here you can stroll around in the historical area of the town leisurely. After that, you will move forward to Heidelberg, which is praised as the “Student Prince”. You are going to visit the oldest university and magnificent Heidelberg Schloss as well as the local beautiful villages. Then return to Frankfurt afterwards.


 Day 12: Departure from Germany
There is no scheduled activity in the morning. You may use of this free time to go shopping or look around the city once more. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the airport by bus for your homeward flight and put an end to this fabulous tour of Germany.
