Day 01 - Entry Frankfurt/Ruedesheim/Rhine Cruise/Heidelberg/Wiesloch
Depart from Frankfurt in the morning and drive to Ruedesheim, famous for its wines and vineyards. Take a short Rhine cruise, passing romantic castles. Motorcoach to Heidelberg, where we visit the inner courtyard of the im-pressive castle and its wine cellar with the big barrel. Continue on a walking tour of the beautiful old university town. In the evening enjoy a 3-course welcome dinner with a welcome drink.
Day 02 - Wiesloch/Black Forest/Lake Constance
After breakfast depart for the Black Forest, a region known for the cuckoo clocks. See the town of Triberg and lake Titisee. Arrive at north shore of Lake Constance in the afternoon and enjoy a walking tour of the pictu-resque Lindau. From here it is just a few minutes to Bregenz - well known for the famous festival taking place every July/August.
Day 03 - Lake Constance/Neuschwanstein Castle/Garmisch/Partenkirchen
Today we move into the Allgäu, viewing the fantastic Bavarian Alps. In Hohenschwangau we visit the fairy tale castle of King Ludwig II, Neuschwanstein. Stop at another architectural treasure, the glorious rococo church Wies. In the late afternoon we arrive in the Olympic town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with overnight at Hotel Obermühle.
Day 04 - Garmisch/Partenkirchen/Linderhof Castle/Oberammergau/Ettal/Munich
Less known but even more beautiful than Neuschwanstein is Linderhof Castle, which we visit in the morning. Continue to Oberammergau, home of the famous Passion Play which takes place every 10 years. The last event took place in the year 2000. Stop at the Benedictine Monastery of Ettal. On to Munich, with optional "Bavarian Evening"inclusive dinner and entertainment.
Day 05 - Munich/Nuremberg
Enjoy an extensive tour of Munich, showing you all the main sights of the splendid Bavarian capital including Nymphenburg Palace. Afternoon drive to the historic city of Nuremberg, with its unique medieval city center, take a walking tour to see the most interesting sights. Stop at the Reichspartei-tagsgelände, courtroom 600 of the famous Nurnberg Trials and also more joyous places like gingerbread-bakeries and Bratwurst stands.
Day 06 - Nuremberg/Castle road/Rothenburg
After breakfast drive along the Castle Road to the Romantic Road. Arrive in Rothenburg around noon. After a walking tour of the charming town incl. the Jakobskirche a church with an altar by T. Riemenschneider, free time for exploring on your own. In the evening enjoy a 3-course fare-well dinner at your hotel.
Day 07 - Exit Rothenburg/Wuerzburg/Frankfurt
Early in the morning we leave for Wuerzburg. Enjoy a tour of the magnificent Residence, a masterpiece of German Baroque architecture. Arrivin at Frankfurt in the afternoon. Tour ends here.

Day 01 - Entry Frankfurt
Arrive at Frankfurt Main Airport, your driver will take you to your Hotel in your private Limousine. Rest of day is at leisure.
Day 02 - Frankfurt/Heidelberg/Frankfurt
After breakfast depart for a city tour of Frankfurt incl. Goethes House, our city-square named Roemer where German emperors were crowned in medieval times. Continue your tour along the skyscrapers and banking towers, that gave Frankfurt the nick-name "Mainhattan". Continue to Heidelberg, home of the student-prince. Visit the famous castle, stroll through the picturesque old town and enjoy lunch in the famous Ritter, a restaurant built in the 15th century. In the afternoon head back to your hotel in Frankfurt.
Day 03 - Frankfurt/Rüdesheim/Rhine-valley/Koblenz/Cologne
In the morning your coach will take you to the charming Rudesheim, where - after a stroll through the world - famous Drosselgasse you board a steamer to take you along wineyards and castles, some of them more than 1000 years old, to St. Goarshausen, just beyond Loreley Rock. Perhaps you will see from the deck of your steamer the blond maid combing her hair . Continue by coach to Koblenz, the city, where the Moselle river meets the Rhine, and from there you drive on to Cologne. Evening at leisure to explore some local breweries, where the "Kölsch" (light beer served in small glasses) can be sampled.
Day 04 - Cologne
Starting at the imposing cathedral of Cologne, which is one of the largest gothic churches in Europe, your city-tour will lead you through small old-town alleys and splendid avenues to the Rhine-River with its bridges and parks. For the sweet-lovers we have planned a visit in the Chocolate Museum, where you can learn all about chocolate and then sample from the large chocolate fountain as much as you can. Take your time in the afternoon to explore Cologne on your own.
Day 05 - Cologne/Mainz/Frankfurt
After breakfast you will drive to another famous city along the Rhine, Mainz. Visit the Old Town, the Cathedral and the Museum of Gutenberg, the inventor of printing press. Back to Frankfurt again, where your tour ends in the late afternoon or you can check in to your optionally booked post - tour hotel.
