4 Days Trip of Finland: Helsinki - Rovaniemi

 Day 01: Arrival in Helsinki
You will fly to Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Upon arrival, you can take a taxi or shuttle bus to transfer to the hotel and check in. For the rest of the day, you can tour around the city nearby and get a general knowledge of this stylish city.


 Day 02: Helsinki
As a mixture of classical beauty and modern urban civilization, Helsinki is not only a romantic ancient European city but also an international metropolis. Meanwhile, it is a garden city clever combines the urban architectures with natural landscape. You will first visit the downtown area today followed by the visit of magnificent Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress. After that, you will proceed to visit the Uspenski Cathedral, which is the largest Greek Orthodox Church in Scandinavia. In the evening, you will head for Rovaniemi.


 Day 03: Rovaniemi
You will arrive at Rovaniemi in the morning. Sitting near the Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi is the fifth largest city in Finland, and it is also regarded as the second capital of the country. You will first visit the Santa Claus Village sitting on the Arctic line (66°33’ north latitude). When you walk into the village, you will first see a long string of lights arranged on the roofs of the buildings which mark the position of the Arctic line. You will also visit the Santa Park which is a large Santa Claus theme park not far from Santa Claus Village. This theme park which is full of the atmosphere of Christmas all the year round is deep into the lowest area of the plateau. And you will appreciate the unique natural landscape here for the rest of the time.


 Day 04: Departure from Finland
You will transfer back to Helsinki by plane or train in the morning, then travel to the airport and take the homebound flight leaving from Finland.
