Tour Code: WT-119   11 Days to Shanghai, Kaifeng, Luoyang, Shaolin Temple, Luoyang, Xian and Beijing

 Day 01 - Entry Shanghai
Upon arrival in shanghai, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.  Visit the Bund and Nanjing Road, if time permits.


  Day 02 - Shanghai
You must see and experience Shanghai to appreciate its cosmopolitan flavor. You will go ahead to visit the Synagogue, the treasures' displays in the Shanghai Museum. After lunch, take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. Tonight, you will be invited to a welcome Dinner served at the famous Wang Bao He restaurant in Central Hotel. Following the dinner is an exciting Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B, L, D)

Note: Huangpu River cruise is arranged in the Luxury series while you will have a family visit in Standard series.


 Day 03 - Shanghai/ Kaifeng
Morning is free and lunch is on your side. Visit the Yuyuan Garden in the afternoon. And then you will take an overnight soft sleeper train to Kaifeng. (B)


 Day 04 - Kaifeng/ Luoyang
In the morning our guide will pick you up at Kaifeng railway station. After breakfast, you will visit the Kaifeng Museum to see its well-documented exhibit on Jewish history, the Qingming Riverside Scene Park to see the Kaifeng Judaic Exhibition, the former Jewish quarter, a local Jewish family, the cemetery of Jin (Gilbert), another Jewish family and the Iron Pagoda. Then you will take a coach to Luoyang. (B, L)


Day 05 - Luoyang
Today's highlights are the Chariot and Horse Pits, the Shaolin Temple and the White Horse Temple on the way. After that you will be transferred to your hotel. (B, L)


Day 06 - Luoyang/ Xian
In the morning you will pay a visit to the longmen caves. And then you will take a soft seat train to Xian and transfer to your hotel. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served for you at the hotel this evening. (B, L, D)

Note: Buffet dinner is served for Luxury series while Standard series will have the dinner on your own.


 Day 07 - Xian
Today's highlight is a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a local famous restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Tonight you will enjoy the wonderful Tang Dynasty Dinner Show in Tang Dynasty Palace.  Day 08 - Xian
This morning's tour features the Provincial History Museum. After the a la carte lunch at the famous restaurant, the Great Mosque and the a local family will be scheduled. (B, L)


Day 09 - Xian/ Beijing
You will take a morning flight to Beijing. Today's tour will begin with strolling across the Tiananmen Square. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon, you will visit the amazing Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a renowned restaurant, followed by a fascinating Peking Opera performance. (B, L, D)
 
 
Day 10 - Beijing
It is once in a life time experience to walk upon the Badaling Great Wall of China. To celebrate this historic visit, your lunch is specially arranged at a local popular Sichuan restaurant. Later you will visit the Ming Tomb. Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the Sacred Way. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. Note: A la carte dinner is served for Luxury series while Standard series will have the dinner on your own.


Day 11 - Departure from Beijing
In the morning you will have a half-day summer palace Tour, if time permits. Then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home today. (B)
