9 Days Trip of Botswana: Maun - Baines' Camp - Chief's Camp - Chobe Chilwero - Kasane

Departure: Daily


 Day 01: Arrival in Maun - Baines’ Camp
After landing in Maun, you will spend another 15 minutes flying to Baines’ Camp by a small airplane. Upon arrival at the airport there, the professional guides will lead you to the camp with 45 minutes’ driving. Located along the Boro River and named after Sir Thomas Baines--a famous explorer in the 19th century, Baines’ Camp provides guests with good quality accommodations although it is just a camp site. You can have a good rest on arrival. The afternoon is free time.


 Day 02: Baines’ Camp
In the morning you will have the opportunity to have an intimate contact with three elephants and even walk with them, which is a great chance to take a closer look at them and learn about their habits. Don’t you think it is a fantastic and unique experience having fun with elephants all day in the camp?


 Day 03: Baines’ Camp - Chief’s Camp
After breakfast, you will go to the airport for 15 minutes’ flying towards another camp with better conditions--Chief’s Camp, which is located in Chief’s Island, a place known as “the predator capital of Africa”. The camp is well-equipped, including guest rooms, dining rooms, bath rooms, reception area and library. You can have a good rest on arrival. The afternoon is free on your own.


 Day 04: Chief’s Camp
You will spend the whole day relaxing in the camp. It is recommended for you to take part in different kinds of the sightseeing activities organized by the camp. 


 Day 05: Chief’s Camp
You are not confined to the camp today. In the morning, helicopters are provided for you to view the beautiful scenery from the air. Besides, you can visit some areas beyond reach through water or land route. During the sightseeing time, you can take photos freely. Safety is always guaranteed by the staff on plane. You may also have a chance to visit the Okavango Delta, the largest inland delta in the world with diversified wild animals.


 Day 06: Chief’s Camp - Chobe Chilwero
After reaching the airport in Chief’s Camp, you will spend 1.5 hour flying to Kasane by a light aircraft. Upon arrival at the Kasane airport, you will be picked up by a professional guide to transfer to the Chobe Chilwero. Here you can visit one of the most fascinating places in the world--Chobe Chilwero Lodge, located in the core area of Botswana wildness zone and central Africa. Four-wheel drive will take you to see wild animals like elephants, hippos, lions, antelopes and water buffaloes. This spot provides complete facilities to make your visit comfortable and perfect. Of course, there is free time left at your disposal.


 Day 07: Chobe Chilwero
You will visit many attractions following the arrangement of Chobe Chilwero resort.


 Day 08: Chobe Chilwero
You will continue to visit the attractions here following the arrangement of Chobe Chilwero resort.


 Day 09: Departure from Botswana
After breakfast, you will take a ferry to Livingstone, a southwestern city in Zambia, where you will take a flight flying back home.
