Day 01: Entry Buenos Aires
You will be met at Ezeiza International airport with an English speaking guide, then transfer to the central city. Check in at the Amerian Park for 2 nights’ accommodation, inclusive of breakfast each morning and all local applicable taxes. In the evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner and a pre-dinner wine tasting held at a wonderful local “parilla” restaurant, located in the trendy Puerto Madero area of the city.
Day 02: Buenos Aires
In the morning, we arrange a half day historical Buenos Aires city sightseeing excursion for you. Then midday transfer to the extensive layout of the Pilar Golf Club for the first round of golf. Included with the green fee is an electric golf cart per twosome and caddy. Transfer back to the city hotel. This afternoon the non-golfers will head out to the Rio de La Plata / Rio Parana confluence and the picturesque, historical river port market township of Tigre. They will have time to wander the markets and a River Cruise in and amongst the myriad of river islands will be included.
Day 03: Buenos Aires/ Iguazu Falls
Check out of the Amerian Park Hotel after breakfast and transfer to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery domestic airport to there check-in for the 1 hour 45 minutes nonstop flight to Iguazu Falls located on the Argentina, Brasil International border in Ne Argentina. On arrival to Iguazu Falls the group will be met and transferred to the 4 star Hotel Cataratas for a 2 nights’ stay. The afternoon is free for group members to explore the river township of Puerto Iguazu.
Day 04: Iguazu Falls
Today after breakfast, we transfer to the Iguazu National Park and the Visitor Center. Here a professional Iguazu Park´s Board guide will take over and be with the group throughout the entire days of adventure activities. The Green Passport of adventures includes: The 2.3 kilometers of upper and 1.5 kilometers of lower walking trails; 2 different and exhilarating boating excursions; a jungle 4x4 interpretive excursion and the people mover train to the access point from where one walks to reach the Devil´s Throat.
Day 05: Iguazu Falls/ Cordoba
After breakfast the group transfers to Iguazu airport for a flight via Buenos Aires to Cordoba city. On arrival, transfer to and check in the Amerian Park Hotel Cordoba. If time allows you have the option of an afternoon round at Cordoba Golf Club.
Day 06: Cordoba
This morning after breakfast the golfers will transfer to the private Cordoba Golf Club. Your round comes inclusive of green fee and caddie. Non-golfers have the option to take a city highlights excursion of Cordoba City. The evening is free for you to enjoy Cordoba. Cordoba offers a myriad of wonderful local cuisine restaurants - one we would recommend is “Alcorta” which is superb but reservations are essential.
Day 07: Cordoba/ San Carlos de Bariloche
Take flight via Buenos Aires to San Carlos de Bariloche in the central southern Andes cordillera. On arrival, transfer 30 kilometers to the glorious surrounds and comforts of Arelauquen Lodge, overlooking the sensational 18-hole Arelauquen championship golf course. Check in at Arelauquen Lodge for a 3 nights’ stay.
Day 08: San Carlos de Bariloche
This morning after breakfast transfer to the famed Llao Llao Championship Golf Course for the second round of golf on this tour. Green Fee and a pull cart are included (Llao Llao has only a very few electric carts which are given to physically handicapped players on a preference basis). This morning Non-Golfers are required to accompany Golfers to Llao Lalo and while the golfers play, non-golfers can use the facilities (spa) relaxing around the Llao Llao Resort Hotel. Following the round at Llao Llao, embark at the lakeside wharf on the CauCau catamaran for a lake cruise on Lago Nahuel Haupi to the enchanted Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes - a forest of rare and exotic Arrayanes trees with a 2.3 kilometers wooden walkway from which to view and enjoy the tranquility.
Day 09: San Carlos de Bariloche
This morning after breakfast and with tee times according to each players desire the group will take on the challenge of the undulating and lengthy Arelauquen Golf Club championship course. Today Non-Golfers will undertake a full day excursion, by road, south of Arelauquen some 170 kilometers to the central Andean township of El Bolson and Lago Puelo. It is a gloriously scenic days excursion, amongst towering Andean afforested mountain tops and around a series of lakes, stopping at Lago Peulo on the return journey, They will be dropped off back at Arelauquen at approx 17:30 - 18:00. There are a number of delightful local restaurants dotted around the lake front in San Carlos de Bariloche and two micro-breweries, so the choice of eating out is left entirely to each individual’s desire tonight.
Day 10: San Carlos de Bariloche/ Buenos Aires
There is time this morning for group members who desire to do so, to play another round here at Arelauquen (a round is an additional own cost) as the flight returning from San Carlos de Bariloche to Buenos Aires is not scheduled until mid-afternoon. It also allows those group members who wish to, to go into San Carlos de Bariloche Township to look for souvenirs or sample the array of famed chocolate house products, fresh from the chefs platter as they are cooled. Mid-afternoon, transfer from Arelauquen Lodge to San Carlos de Bariloche airport, here to check-in for the 2 hours 40 minutes nonstop flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival and after collecting luggage, check in the Amerian Park Hotel again.
Day 11: Buenos Aires
Morning transfer to the famed and much vaunted Olivos Golf Club, there to challenge, or be challenged by one of the top three golf course layouts in the country. Your round includes green fees and a caddy. For Non-Golfers, departing after breakfast today is dedicated to the rural lifestyle of the famed gauchos of the Pampas and the group will be taken some 128 kilometers into the countryside to the famous gaucho township of San Antonio del Areco first to the local museum which gives a fascinating insight into the rural lifestyles from times past, then to Estancia La Cinacina, a working cattle ranch where awaits a traditional Fiesta Gaucha. Traditional music, song, folkloric dance and superb hospitality are precursors of a huge luncheon served “asado” style - where all manner of meat cuts of beef, pork and poultry are cooked over searing hot flameless coals, complemented by salads, baked potato and vegetables and dessert platters. Guests can taste traditional “mate” - a herbal tea which is a delicacy widely touted throughout the country and watch the amazing horsemanship skills performed by the gauchos of the estancia. Horse riding is available for anybody who wishes to partake. This evening at 19:30 the group will be picked up from the Amerian Park hotel to transfer out to the suburb of Baracas where the exquisite Senor Tango auditorium is located. This is the premier Tango show in Argentina and would grace any world renowned stage. The evening commences with a three course dinner, complemented by fine Argentine wines and bottled water, followed by this world-class Tango review that concludes at approx 00:30. Guests are transferred back to their hotel to be there by approx 01:00.
Day 12: Exit Buenos Aires
Time for last minute shopping, packing and a mid-afternoon transfer to Ezeiza International airport there to check-in for the return homeward bound flight. A current departure tax of USD18.00 has to be paid by each individual in cash prior to clearing departure control.
