Tour Code: WT-Damascus 01    8 Days tour in Syria to Damascus, Palmyra, Aleppo and Apamea

 Day 01 - Entry Damascus
Upon arrival in Damascus, transfer to your hotel. Free for the rest of the day.


 Day 02 - Damascus
This morning, head to Damascus. The whole day tour includes  a stop at the Ezraa, Shahba, visit the Qanawat and see some early Christian buildings, tour around the Sweida, Bosra and black basalt cities. After conclude the tour, transfer back to Damascus and have overnight stay.


 Day 03 - Damascus
Continue a new day exploration at old city Damascus. Visit the  Omayyad Mosque, the "Street Called Straight", Azzam Palace, the souq, and the National Museum.  Have an overnight stay at Damascus.


 Day 04 - Palmyra
Early this morning, leave for Palmyra. Have the rest day to explore the city of Queen Zenobia. This oasis, rising up out of the desert, is a must-see site when travllers come. Have an overnight stay at Palmyra.


 Day 05 - Palmyra/ Aleppo
If you raise up early this morning, you will have a chance to enjoy the sunrise over the Palmyra ruins. Afterwards, leave for the Crac De Chevaliers, an ancient fortress. After have stop there, head to Aleppo. Visit the  Bronze Age city of Ebla (Tel Mardika) and the Crusader castle of Sahyun on the way. Have an overnight stay at Aleppo.


 Day 06 - Aleppo
Start the tour in Aleppo and visit the noted souks at the foot of the Aleppo Citadel. Afterwards, take the rest of the day to Citadel atop a plateau, visit the old quarter, stop at the Museum and end the day with a stay in the St. Simeon's basilica. Transfer back to Aleppo and have an overnight stay there.


 Day 07 - Aleppo/ Apamea/ Damascus
Transfer to Apamea, a Seleucid city in the ancient times and occupied a great military garrison. After seeing some powerful Roman and Byzantine ruins, visit the Ma'aloula to acquire the local dialect. Then transfer to Damascus and have an overnight stay there.


 Day 08 - Exit Damascus
Check out the hotel and your tour ends.
