Day 01 - Entry Barcelona
Arrive in Barcelona and transfer to the hotel. A Welcome Cava on arrival and dinner tonight at a local restaurant, specializing in the preparation of cod.

Day 02 - Barcelona
Following a wonderful breakfast, it is on to a visit of Barcelona. You will stop at the fabulous Boqueria market, the Palau de la Musica, the Cathedral, and other sites in this city famous for its Gaudi architecture. Lunch will be at a typical tapas place. Aftewards, on to the lovely medieval city of Besalu. In the evening, your first cooking lesson with Chef Oriol followed by dinner of your efforts. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 03 - Barcelona/Girona
Breakfast and then off for a visit to the lovely medieval city of Girona. This is a city dating from pre-Roman times and full of historical sites. You will have lunch in a restaurant that specializes in rice dishes. After lunch, continue your tour of Catalan towns and the perhistoric Iberian ruins of Ullastret, including towns such as Peretallada or Pals. Return for your second cooking lesson followed by dinner. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 04 - Girona
After breakfast at the hotel, a visit to a local cheese factory, a characteristic old bakery, fish market, and a very nice ceramic store.Time on your own for some shopping and lunch. In the afternoon, go on to Castillo de Perelada for a visit of the caste and the vineyards, and Cava tasting and degustation cellar. Cava is a Catalan champagne and delightful to drink! Dinner tonight at El Rebost D'en Pere, a modern Catalan restaurant that has just received a Michelin star.

Day 05 - Girona/Barcelona
Tour ends after breakfast. Transfer to Barcelona airport or train station and see you off.
