  Day 01- Entry Beijing
After your international flight lands, our guide will give you a warm welcome at the Beijing airport. Transfer you to the best Holiday Inn hotel in Beijing - Holiday Inn Central Plaza. Take your time to have a brief impression of this city.


 Day 02 - Beijing
After breakfast, a pre-tour brief introduction is presented at your hotel. Start with the Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City. This palace had been functioned as the administrative center of the country as well as the pleasure home of the emperors and empresses for five centuries. In the afternoon, continue sight-seeing in the Temple of Heaven. It is enclosed with a long wall. The northern part within the wall is semicircular symbolizing the heavens and the southern part is square symbolizing the earth. The design reflected an ancient Chinese thought of "The heaven is round and the earth is square". Tonight, we will spend CNY122.00 net per person to arrange you a delicious Beijing Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant. The enlightened Peking Opera Performance, with a history longer than 200 years, at the Liyuan Theatre will be followed. (B, L, D)



 Day 03 - Beijing
Visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall, the essence of the Great Wall. As a part of great defense project in ancient China, the Badaling section was an important military pass in Ming Dynasty and the providing a shield for the capital. After getting some lore about ancient Chinese military, you will have a toothsome lunch at a local popular Sichuan food restaurant. In the afternoon, go on with the Sacred Way and the Dingling Tombs, one of the 13 famous mausoleums of emperors in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Because of its long history, palatial and integrated architecture, the site has a high cultural and historic value. Don’t forget to take some photos of appearance of the Bird’s Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way back to the downtown area. With a pattern as the “nest” breeding life, it is more like a cradle, a spiritual sustenance of our hope for the future. (B, L, D)

 Day 04 - Beijing/ Xian
Start with the Summer Palace today. As an imperial paradise of hills and waters, the Summer Palace has absorbed the essence of architectures from all over the China. It is the king of the four major Chinese gardens. Afterwards, the lovely Pandas in Bejing zoo will certainly attract your attention. When you finish lunch, you take a flight to Xian and be met to check in at the deluxe 5-star Hyatt Regency Hotel in the downtown, where we will spend CNY170.00 net per person to arrange you a luxurious buffet dinner.  Day 05 - Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, where you will enjoy the mystery of colored painting widely used by China’s working people more than 2,000 years ago. All these figures of terracotta are rich in artistic charm. Afterwards, have an a la carte lunch at a finest Sichuan restaurant and we will spend CNY80.00 net per person to arrange that. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is drawn on the Seal of Xian City. Having a simple style and imposing grandeur, this Pagoda is a rare masterpiece among the Buddhist constructive art in China. Tonight, you will enjoy wonderful Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace. (B, L, D)


 Day 06 - Xian
In the morning, visit the City Wall, a complex and well-organized system of defense built with fortifications, like watch towers and ramparts. Continue with a local family. Enjoy a decent a la carte lunch valued at CNY80.00 net per person at a well chosen restaurant. Visit the Great Mosque in the afternoon and you will have some free time to explore the Muslim Bazaar nearby for some souvenirs for your friends or family. Do not forget to sample the local snacks.   Day 07 - Xian/ Lhasa
Take a morning flight to Lhasa and transfer to the local best 4-star Four Points by Sheraton Hotel.  To ensure that you will have an enough rest to adapt to the high altitude, we will just arrange the dinner at your hotel. Since you just arrive in Lhasa, we suggest you not take a shower on the arrival day. (B, D)
 

 Day 08 - Lhasa
Visit the world-renowned Potala Palace, the symbol of Lhasa firstly. This age-old palace is not only famous for its magnificent architecture, but also known for the precious cultural relics. It was inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO 1994. After having a hearty lunch at a famous local restaurant, go on to visit the Sera Monastery, one of the three major Tibetan Buddhist temples in the city. Then a typical Tibetan family visit will deepen your impression of Tibetan’s folkways and customs. In the evening, enjoy an a la carte dinner of Sichuan food at the local best restaurant. (B, L, D)


 Day 09 - Lhasa
Today start with the Jokhang Temple. Owning a supremacy position in the Tibetan Buddhism, it is located at the center of the city. Moreover, Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet. Everyday you can see pilgrims from every corner of Tibet to pilgrimage clockwise around the temple. The Barkhor Street is just outside the Jokhang Temple and you will have some free time there. After you visit the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital, morning tour comes to an end temporarily.  After lunch, visit the Norbulingka Park which is known as the “Summer Palace” of the Tibet. As the largest man-made garden of Tibet, it has the best scenery and the most historic sites. At night, you will have a chance to enjoy a Tibetan dance and fashion show after a special dinner.   Day 10 - Lhasa/ Shanghai
Visit the Tibet Museum in the morning. Displaying more than 1,000 pieces of cultural relics, the museum shows you directly the Tibetan charming and splendid culture and its long history. It is also the first museum in Tibet equipped with modern facilities. After lunch, take a flight to the finale of your trip, Shanghai. Be met and transfer to check in at the 5-star JC Mandarin Hotel.  Day 11 - Shanghai
In the morning, visit the Shanghai Museum first of all. As a large-scale Chinese Ancient Art Museum, the Shanghai Museum has collected 120,000 pieces of precious relics. Bronze vessels, ceramics, works of calligraphy and paintings are famous at home and abroad. When you finish visiting the Museum, the Yuyuan Garden will be your next stop. Reflecting the art of the Southern garden building in Ming and Qing dynasties, Yuyuan Garden is a bright jewel in all classical gardens. In the afternoon, have a Huangpu River cruise tour. The farewell dinner of CNY105.00 net per person will be arranged at a famous restaurant, which serves the best Shanghai Cuisine. Following the dinner is an exciting Portman Acrobatic Show at Shanghai Centre Theatre. Return to the hotel. (B, L, D)


 Day 12 - Exit Shanghai
Today you will board the flight home by yourselves. Alternatively, our tour specialists are very glad to arrange you the private extension tour upon request. (B)

Tips:
In Shanghai there are two airports: Hongqiao Airport (SHA) and Pudong Airport (PVG). Please make sure you will go to the right one before departure. You may book a taxi through your hotel reception to avoid any long waiting at the gate. The rate is about CNY150 - 170 for one hour's drive to PVG and CNY30.00 for 20 minutes drive to SHA. Alternatively, you may take the hotel shuttle bus to the airport. It is less expensive. Please contact the hotel reception for more information.
