Welcome to China! Upon arrival in Beijing, our guide will hold a sign with your name and our logo waiting for you at the airport. After a brief self-introduction by the guide, you will be transferred to the Holiday Inn Central Plaza (4-star) , which is the best Holiday Inn hotel in Beijing. The remainder of the day will be free for you to arrange it on your own. You may have a good rest and take a shower at the hotel or stroll around in the city freely.

A big breakfast will be served in your hotel, after that, you will be gathered together and met all the members in your group. Our guide will introduce you to each other and make a tour-briefing before the tour at the hotel. Then the city tour will start from the famous Tiananmen Square, this square is located at the center of Beijing City, thousands of people come to the Square every day and it is the must place to visit in Beijing City. Afterwards, go straight to the magnificent Forbidden City, which is the worlds largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex. It covers a floor space of 720,000 square meters, having 9,999 buildings. After an a la carte lunch served at a local restaurant, you will be taken to the worthwhile visiting place - Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. The enlightened Chinese Kung Fu Show will be followed at the Red Theatre at night. (B, L)
The morning tour will show you the China marvelous man-made structure - Badaling Great Wall to see this fantastic, amazing and breath-taking scenery once in your life. Badaling section is at the highest point of north end of the Guangou gorge, in which the Juyongguan Pass lies. In the history, the function of Badaling was to protect the Juyongguan Pass. Todays lunch is not included because of the poor service of tourist restaurants there. We suggest you have a big breakfast and take some snacks for lunch. In the afternoon, continue to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb, which is the burial site of 13 ancient emperors. You will get to the Ming Tomb at the end of the Sacred Path. Drive back to Beijing city. On the way, you will have a chance to look at the appearance of the magnificent Olympic National Stadium - Birds Nest afar. (B)

The Beijing tour will be concluded after a stay at the Summer Palace and have a Hutong tour. The Summer Palace is located in Haidian District, some 12 kilometers northwest of the downtown and it consists of Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill (Front Hill and Rear Hill). You will enjoy an a la carte lunch at a well-selected restaurant at noon. Afterwards, our guide will transfer you to the airport and help you board the flight to Xian. Upon arrival, your group will be met by another tour guide and transferred to the Bell Tower Hotel (4-star) in the downtown. (B, L)
On the first day tour in Xian, drive to east to visit the significant Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is a hangar-like building constructed over Pit 1, place of the original discovery in 1974 opened in 1979. Later in October 1994, Pit 2 opened to the public. Now the museum is a stunning display that every visitor to China should see. At noon, we will specially prepare an a la carte lunch for you at a loca family home. You will taste the authentic home-cooked Chinese food. After lunch, move to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda & Xian Museum. Tonight, you will be treated to a Dumpling dinner and a wonderful Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. (B, L, D)
Today continue your visit to the mighty City Wall. City Wall in Xian is an extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure, as a result of the wall-building campaign ordered by Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of Ming Dynasty. Then turn to the Provincial History Museum. After your a la carte lunch, you will visit the Great Mosque. There is a very famous Muslim Bazaar nearby, you will have some free time to stroll around and select some interesting things or souvenirs for you or your family. (B, L)
This morning you will take a flight to Guilin and check in at the Guilin Bravo Hotel (4-star). Then start your Guilin city tour from the Reed Flute Cave. (B)

Today, to better appreciate the fantastic scenery in Guilin, we will arrange the highlight cruise down to Yangshuo by Li River. Yangshuo is famous for its supernatural rural scenery. You will be arranged cycling trip to the countryside and have a brief visit to the local residents family. If you are not good at riding, we will transfer you there instead of riding bicycles. After that, we will transfer you back to Guilin and visit the Elephant Trunk Hill at the southeast of Guilin city and west bank of Li River. Elephant Trunk Hill is regarded as the symbol of Guilin landscape. (B, L)
Our guide will fix a time with you in advance and transfer you to the Guilin airport for the flight to Shanghai in the morning. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the 5-star Howard Johnson Plaza Shanghai. We would like to leave the rest of free day for you to explore morden Shanghai. (B)

In the morning, visit the Shanghai Museum in Peoples Square, covering a construction space of 38,000 square meters, the museum is 29.5 meters high with five floors aboveground and two underground. Next stop is the Yuyuan Garden in the northeast part of the old town and has an area of fives acres. A luxurious a la carte lunch will be arranged for you. In the afternoon you will have some free time to stroll on the Bund, Nanjing Road and an old cultural street in Shanghai. Our guide will transfer your whole group back to the hotel and say good-bye to you. (B, L)
Today you can sleep in and pack your luggage at your time. Then check out the hotel before 12 oclock and take a shuttle bus or taxi to the airport by yourself. Alternatively, our tour specialists are very glad to arrange you the private extension tour upon request. (B)
Tips:
In Shanghai there are two airports: Hongqiao Airport (SHA) and Pudong Airport (PVG). Please make sure you will go to the right one before departure. You may book a taxi through your hotel reception to avoid any long waiting at the gate. The rate is about CNY100.00 for one and a half hours drive to PVG and CNY50.00 for 50 minutes drive to SHA. Alternatively, you may take the hotel shuttle bus to the airport. It is less expensive. Please contact the hotel reception for more information.
