Day 01 - Entry Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer you to the best Holiday Inn hotel in Beijing - 4-star Holiday Inn Central Plaza. The rest of the day is free.
 
 
Day 02 - Beijing
After breakfast, a pre-tour briefing is presented at your hotel. Visit the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Tonight, we will spend CNY122.00 net per person to arrange you a delicious Beijing Duck Dinner at a famous restaurant. Following the dinner is the enlightened Peking Opera Performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B, L, D)


Day 03 - Beijing
Visit the Badaling Great Wall, the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. To avoid having lunch at the shopping site restaurant, we specially arrange your lunch served at a local popular Sichuan food restaurant. (B, L, D)

Day 04 - Beijing/ Xian
Visit the Summer Palace and the Pandas. Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the deluxe 5-star Hyatt Regency Hotel in the downtown. We will spend CNY168.00 net per person to arrange you a luxurious buffet dinner at your hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 05 - Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. We will spend CNY80.00 net per person to arrange you an a la carte lunch at a finest Sichuan restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and mighty City Wall. Tonight, you will be treated to a wonderful Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace. Shennong Stream excursion, Yangtze Three Gorges tour

Day 06 - Xian
Visit the Provincial History Museum. After your a la carte lunch of CNY80.00 net per person served, you will be taken to visit a local family, which helps you know well about the local people's life. Then go to see the Great Mosque and have some free time to explore for some souvenirs or antiques in the bazaar near the Mosque. This evening, your a la carte dinner of the same value will be arranged at a well-known at a well-known Sichuan cuisine restaurant. (B, L, D)
 

Day 07 - Xian/ Chongqing
This morning you will visit the Hanyangling Museum, the mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi. Then take a flight to Chongqing and transfer to the downtown. Before boarding the  5-star German-made China Regal cruise ship, you will enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner valued at CNY88.00 at a 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze Hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 08 - Chongqing/ Fengdu
Depart from Chongqing at 08:00 am to explore the Three Gorges downstream. Your first shore excursion is to the Ghost City of Fengdu, which is scheduled in the afternoon. After going back to the cruise ship, the buffet diner followed by a fascinating music and dance show will be served in the evening. You could join for fun. (B, L, D)

Preparation for the Shennong Stream exploration, Yangtze River tour

 Day 09 - Badong/ Xiling Gorge/ Sandouping
Today, you will see all three gorges: the Qutang Gorge, the Wu Gorge and the Xiling Gorge. You will stop at Badong, a small town, and then journey to the Shennong Stream, where you will ride a 'pea boat' up the small gorges against the rapid. At about 17:00, the cruise will get in line to pass the five-level ship lock. (B, L, D)


Day 10 - Sandouping
Wake up early for a shore excursion around the Three Gorges Dam Site to view the progress of the Three Gorges Dam. Exit the gorges at Yichang city, where you pass the ship lock of Gezhouba Dam. Around 20:00, you can enjoy yourself with the dancing and music performance in the evening party. (B, L, D)


Day 11 - Wuhan/ Shanghai
The cruise is expected in Wuhan at 12:00. Get prepared to disembark. A flavor lunch is served at the local restaurant. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the 5-star JC Mandarin Hotel in the downtown. The rest of the day is on your own leisure. (B, L)

Day 12 - Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take a relaxing cruise tour on Huangpu River, you will experience the prosperity of modern Shanghai. The farewell dinner of CNY105.00 net per person will be arranged at a very famous restaurant, which serves the best Shanghai Cuisine. Following the dinner is an exciting Portman Acrobatic Show at Shanghai Centre Theatre. Return to the hotel, our guide will say good-bye to you. (B, L, D)


Day 13 - Exit Shanghai
Today you will board the flight home by yourselves. Alternatively, our tour specialists are very glad to arrange you the private extension tour upon request. (B)

Tips:
In Shanghai there are two airports: Hongqiao Airport (SHA) and Pudong Airport (PVG). Please make sure you will go to the right one before departure. You may book a taxi through your hotel reception to avoid any long waiting at the gate. The rate is about CNY150 - 170 for one hour's drive to PVG and CNY30.00 for 20 minutes drive to SHA. Alternatively, you may take the hotel shuttle bus to the airport. It is less expensive. Please contact the hotel reception for more information.
