Day 01 - Entry Yichang

Upon arrival in Yichang, you will be met by the local guide and transferred to board the luxurious President Cruise to stay overnight.

 

 

As the cruise depart Yichang at 07:00 this morning, your romantic travel is on the way. Your first stop is to take a shore excursion around the Three Gorges Dam Site to view the progress of the Three Gorges Dam. Back to the cruise ship.Enter the Xiling Gorge afterwards and enjoy its picturesque landscape on the both sides of the bank. You will be invited to the Captain's Welcome Party. The dinner followed with a fascinating music and dance show will be served in the evening. You could join for fun. (B, L, D)

 

 

Today, you will see the other two gorges: the Wu Gorge and the Qutang Gorge with their distinctive features. Stop at Badong, a small town, and then journey to the Shennong Stream, where you will ride a 'pea boat' up the small gorges against the rapid. (B, L, D)

 

 

Wake up early for a shore trip to the Ghost City. Then back to the cruise ship. You may find leisure onboard for the rest of the day. (B, L, D)

 

 

The cruise is expected in Chongqing at 9:00. Get prepared to disembark. Your guide will meet you on board and transfer you to the Chongqing Zoo to see the pandas and also visit the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell if time is available. After a rich buffet lunch at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze Hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. (B, L)
