Captain's Welcome Party, Yangtze River cruise

Day 01 - Entry Chongqing
Upon arrival in Chongqing, you will be met by the local guide. You will be taken to the Chongqing Zoo to see the pandas and also visit the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell if the time is available. Before get on board the deluxe Century Star cruise ship, you will enjoy a buffet dinner at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze Hotel. (D)

Day 02 - Chongqing/ Fengdu
This morning you will have a Safety, Orientation & River Briefing. You will learn the geography & river lore of China. After lunch, disembark at Fengdu, have an excursion to the Snowy Jade Cave. Then back to the cruise ship, you will be invited to the Captain's Welcome Party. The dinner followed with a fascinating music and dance show will be served in the evening. You could join for fun. Day 03 - Badong (Shennong Stream)/ Xiling Gorge
Today, you will see all three gorges: the Xiling Gorge, the Wu Gorge and the Qutang Gorge with their distinctive features.  A Farewell Party tonight invites you to perform dancing or musical instruments with the cruise staff. (B, L, D)


Day 04 - Yichang/ Exit
After a shore excursion around the Three Gorges Dam Site to view the progress of the Three Gorges Dam, the cruise is expected to get to Yichang at 11:30. Get prepared to disembark. Your guide will meet you on board and take you to visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. Then see you off. (B, L)
