  Upon arrival in Xian, you are met warmly by the local guide at the airport or railway station depending on your arrival place, and then we will transfer you to the hotel. The rest time is free for you to relax or stroll around by yourselves

  Pit 1, Terra Cotta Army Museum

  Todays highlight is a visit to the worldwide known Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. This great discovery was really a coincidence. It was found by a group of peasants digging a well in 1974, and they had made what was to become the greatest archaeological find of the 20th century when they unearthed fragments of a life sized Terra Cotta Warrior. Excavation of the vault revealed thousands of warriors and their horses; an entire army designed follows its emperor into eternity. Then, what secret on earth is covered in it or what kind of history it tells? In this day, you will go and find the truth.
  
  Your a la carte lunch is served a local famous restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, regarded as a symbol of the ancient capital of Xian. It lies on the Da Cien Temple in the southern surburb of Xian City. This old Pagoda underwent the baptism of the history while stand still today. It was originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. The last spot today is the Provincial History Museum. Finally, the local special Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show is prepared at Shaanxi Opera Theatre in the evening.   Exit Xian

  Unearthed cultural relics in the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum

  This mornings tour features the Xian City Wall - China’s best-preserved City Wall built in the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Every 120 meters, there is a rampart which extends out from the main wall. All together, there are 98 ramparts on the wall, which were built to defend against the enemy climbing up the wall. Besides, the distance between every two ramparts is just within the range of an arrow shot from either side, so that they could shoot the enemy, who wanted to attack the city, from the side. At the top of the City Wall, it seems that the past history unfold before you once again. Then visit the Great Mosque. You can enrich your insight and the Moslem culture. Visit a local family and enjoy an a la carte lunch in the home of the family that you visit, to taste the authentic home cooked Chinese dishes. Upon completion of you memorable Xian tour, today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
