Day 04 - Beijing/ Xian
After breakfast, visit the famous Royal Garden - the Summer Palace. This famous garden was called "Qingyi Yuan" (Garden of Clear Ripples) when it was established. Stroll leisurely around the Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. We will arrange you an a la carte lunch at very famous local restaurant at noon. Then you will have a Hutong tour to experience the original Beijing culture by taking a special rickshaw riding through the various Hutongs and to know about Old Beijing's manners and customs. Take a flight to the ancient city - Xian. You will be met by our hospitable guide in Xian and transfer you to the hotel comfortably. (B, L)
Day 05 - Xian
You will be driven out of the downtown area to see the large-scaled and world celebrated museum - The Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. After massive excavation, the emperor's terra cotta army was found in three underground timber lined vaults and it formed the current famous three pits, namely Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3. A la carte lunch today is specially arranged at a well-chosen restaurant. The schedule for this afternoon is the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provincial History Museum. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is famous because it was the first place the Monk Xuan Zang set up Buddhist Sutra Translation Center and from then the Buddhism became popular in Tang Dynasty. For the arrangement in the evening, it just as the below clarifies. (B, L, D)
Note: Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace is arranged for Luxury series while Standard series will have the Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Music and Dances Show at Shaanxi Opera Theater instead.
Day 06 - Xian
After visiting the City Wall in the morning, you will have a local family visit and an a la carte lunch will be arranged in the home of the family that you visit, to taste the authentic home cooked Chinese dishes. In the afternoon, continue to visit the Great Mosque and have some free time to explore the Muslim Bazaar nearby. (B, L)
Day 07 - Xian/ Shanghai
This morning, fly to the modern metropolis - Shanghai and transfer to the comfortable hotel for a rest. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city by yourself. (B)

Day 08 - Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum in the morning after breakfast. Admittedly, it is indispensable for you to know more about this city's past and development by seeing numerous historical articles exhibited there. After the indoor visit in the museum, be driven to the northeastern part to see its well-known garden - Yuyuan Garden. You will be attracted by its unique bounding wall, since they are decorated with dragon's heads and paved by scale like tiles on top, looks like a huge wandering dragon, and that is the so-called Five- Dragon Wall. Around noon, you will enjoy a luxury a la carte lunch at a reputed and well-selected local restaurant. The following arrangements today differ between the Luxury Series and Standard ones. You may check the below for the difference. (B, L)
Note:
For the Luxury series, an unforgettable short Huangpu River Cruise will be arranged in the afternoon. You will also have a chance to visit an old street in Shanghai.
For the Standard series, Nanjing Road, the Bund and an old street are scheduled for you in the afternoon.
Day 09 - Exit Shanghai
Transfer you to the airport to board your international flight. Your memorable China tour ends here. (B)
