Day 01 - Entry Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing, you will be greeted warmly by our guide in Beijing after you go through the baggage claim area. Transfer you to the reputed hotel by a comfortable private car. You may have a good rest to refresh from your jet lag. The rest of the day is on your side to arrange.
Day 02 - BeijingThis morning, visit the capacious Tiananmen Square. If you want to watch the flag-rising ceremony, you need to get up early, since the flag will rise the same time when the sun rise. Then visit the grand royal Palace - The Forbidden City. It was said that a million workers including 100, 000 artisans made great contribution into this long-term hard project. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven. You will know some interesting history about this place from your guide. Take one of the main buildings - The Circular Altar for example. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 A.D. - 1911 A.D.), the emperors would offer sacrifice to Heaven on the day of the Winter Solstice every year. This ceremony was to thank Heaven and hope everything would be good in the future. The Beijing Duck Dinner will be offered this evening, and the lively Peking Opera will be followed after your special roast duck dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 03 - Beijing
This morning, you will be taken out of the downtown area to visit the Badaling Great Wall section, the most representative part of the whole Great Wall. Please make sure that you have a pair of good gym shoes for your following climbing. After climbing many steps and reaching the summit of the Great Wall, you can take your advantage to have a bird eye view of its nearby breath-taking scenery and appreciate this unparalleled man-made miracle in China. The lunch will be served in a popular restaurant with the famous Sichuan Cuisine. Go through the Sacred Way, you will reach the Ming Tomb, a notable site of the thirteenth emperor and his two empresses in the Ming Dynasty. Served by three stone doors, it is divided into three Halls consisting of five high palaces - the front, the middle, the rear, the left and the right palaces. Finishing the visit there, drive back to the hotel. On the way, you will see the appearance of the Bird's Nest (The National Olympic Stadium). The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area. (B, L, D)

Day 04 - Beijing/ XianVisit the former Royal Palace - the famous Summer Palace, which located in the northwest suburb of Beijing. By using some architecture skills from the southern gardens, it became the outstanding classical imperial gardens in China. You will see the magnificent architecture and amazed by its crafty outlay of the whole palace. As is known to all, this garden was one of the four famous gardens in China, say, Chengde Mountain Resort, Humble Administrator's Garden and Lingering Garden. After that, you will driven to visit the Beijing Zoo to see different animals. Without any exaggeration, the lovely Pandas will draw your attention, particularly, if you travel with your children. Fly to the ancient City - Xi'an after you having lunch. You will be met in Xi'an Xianyang International airport in time and transferred to your hotel. A rich buffet dinner will be served for the Luxury Series at the hotel this evening. (B, L, D)

Day 05 - XianThis morning, your exciting tour in historical Xi'an begins just by transferring to the famous Qin-Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum after your breakfast. Admittedly, this popular site receives thousands of visitors every day, just because of its record-breaking scale and wonderful vivid sculpture of the soldiers and armies. You will see the human-like figuline figures, horses, carriages, etc. in the different pits, and know some background knowledge of this amazing sites and how it was found. After that, a la carte lunch in a well-chosen restaurant will be offered in the downtown area. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a quite well-known place among the locals after the so-called the biggest music fountain was founded. Besides visiting the Pagoda, seeing this unique fountain perhaps is also another highlight for your short stay there. At the end of the day, visit the Provincial History Museum. (B, L, D)
Day 06: Xian
This morning, visit the City Wall. The solid square city wall is another remark of this ancient city and fully showed its indispensable function in the past days on defending this city. You will stroll on the way and see the city from a higher angle. For the entertainment of this evening, please check the below details for the difference. Then visit a local family before an a la carte lunch is served at a well-selected hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Great Mosque.
Day 07 - Xian/ LhasaVisit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi on the way to the airport. The most attractive part of this museum is its spacious underground museum, which includes different exhibitions halls on different themes and it shows different scenes of the Western Han. After that, your guide will transfer you to the airport to take your flight to Lhasa, a mysterious place, where many people are dreaming of. You will see our guide after you go through the baggage claim area and be taken to the finest hotel in Lhasa. Have a good rest, and adjust yourself to this high altitude, 3,650 meters above sea level. Dinner is served at your hotel. You may bring some fruits in case you do not any appetite due to the lack of oxygen.(B, D)
Day 08 - LhasaAfter breakfast, visit the Tibet Museum, a direct place for you to know more about this city. Then proceed to visit to the Carpet Factory, which lies south of the city government and west of Tibet University. This factory enjoys high reputation in producing traditional Tibetan carpets, which sell well home and abroad. Then after a western-style lunch, visit the prestigious Sera Monastery and the Norbulingka Park in the afternoon. With the large amount of precious relics, the Sera Monastery is well known for the debate on sutra as well, and you can take a chance to see this unusual scene there. Besides, Sera Monastery is also among one of the three big monasteries in Lhasa, the other two are Drepung Monastery and Gandan Monastery. The Norbulingka Park, the summer Palace for the Dalai Lama is another highlight. You will take your time ease and enjoy your short stay there. Tonight, you will be entertained by a a la carte dinner in the local best Sichuan cuisine Restaurant. (B, L, D)

Day 09 - Lhasa
The morning schedule is to visit the magnificent Potala Palace, which was originally built by Songtsen Gampo for Princess Wencheng to commemorate this historical event. After several restorations, it became the current grand Palace in Tibet and the first place the visitors want to see. Then visit the
Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkor Street. According to the astrology, this holy temple occupies a good location since it was just built on the pool. Besides, you will see many well-kept invaluable cultural relics. Stroll around the busy bazaar, you will see many local sellers and local products. At the end of the day , stay a short while in the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital, the largest Tibetan traditional hospital in Tibet. The last stop today is the Dinner will be offered in the hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 10 - Lhasa/ Shanghai
The last stop in Lhasa is the visit to the Tibetan Family. It is a good chance for you to know more about the local people through this personal visit. Then after lunch, your guide will transfer you to the airport to board your flight to the big modern metropolis - Shanghai. Your guide will pick you up in time and transfer you to the hotel. The rest day is free for you to arrange on your own. (B, L)
Day 11 - ShanghaiVisit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden in the morning. You will see a numerous collections of Chinese masterpieces in the museum, say, Chinese Bronze, Calligraphy, Paintings, ect. The auto-matic electronic explaining machine in English will help you a lot in mastering more essence of this city and its development. The outdoor visit to the garden surely is refreshing and unforgettable. The most classical Chinese garden will unfold before your eyes. The schedule for your visit in this afternoon is quite different. Please refer to the below for more details. This evening, a well-chosen a la carte farewell dinner is served for you at Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. After the dinner, you will have a chance to appreciate the breath-taking Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. (B, L, D)

Day 12 - Exit Shanghai Private transfer will take you to board your international flight. Your short and memorable China tour ends here.(B)
