- 0:42 A.M. EST, Nov 26, 2007 The Seventh Chongli Int'l Skiing Festival to Start
On the morning of November 24th, 2007, the opening ceremony of the Seventh Chongli International Skiing Festival was held in Dolomiti Mountain Resort, Chongli County, Hebei Province. This festival will last until April 10th, 2008.
Chongli County of Zhangjiakou City is blessed with skiing resource, with four 4 well-equipped ski resorts covering an area of 600 square meters (148 acres).
During the festival, a series of activities will be held, including ice and snow entertainment activities, economic communications and cultural activities. Then, some foreign skiing athletes will present their excellent performances. At the same time, there will also be Italian local customs shows interspersed in the festival.

Xinjiang Branch Company of China Southern Airlines will open regular flights between Urumqi and Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan, as of December 18th, 2007.
Meanwhile, after the opening, Xinjiang Branch Company will offer special preferential air tickets in the first month. The ticket price of a single trip is CNY 1,700, while the normal price is CNY 2,840. The preferential ticket price of a round trip is only CNY 3,150. Group passengers of over ten persons can even enjoy a more favorable price of CNY 2,900 per person for a round trip. One in 16 group passengers will be free of charge. Tickets prices for children and infants are 75% and 10% of the preferential full ticket price.

China Eastern Airlines will open Shanghai-Brisbane direct air route, passing via Melbourne, as of November 21st, 2007. It will be the first direct air route between Shanghai and Brisbane of Australia.
