Day 01 - Entry Casablanca/Rabat
Upon arrival, head to the capital city of Morocco - Rabat. Wander around to explore this city freely if time permits. Stay overnight.
Day 02 - Rabat/Fez
After a morning tour in Rabat, drive to Fez. En route, stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss I, where the founder of Islam in Morocco is buried. Continue driving to Fez and have a good rest in a local hotel.
Day 03 - Fez
Explore the oldest cultural and spiritual Imperial City of Morocco. After lunch, visit the Arabian House to observe various craftsmen performing their work using ancient techniques.
Day 04 - Fez/Marrakech
Depart to Marrakech passing by Immouzer El Kander and Azrou, a Berber village known for its Handicrafts Cooperative. Continue through the wooded and mountainous region of Fez passing through Beni-Mellal. Continue to Marrakesh and stay overnight.
Day 05 - Marrakech
Visit this second oldest Imperial City - Marrakech. In the afternoon, explore the Souks and the world famous Djemma El Fna Palace with its various entertainments.
Day 06 - Marrakech/Bamako
Morning is free at leisure. In the afternoon, transfer to Casablanca where you will connect flight to Mail. Upon arrival, check in a local and have a good rest.
Day 07 - Bamako
Upon arrival, check in a local hotel and have a good rest. Later, enjoy Bamako city tour. Visit the National Museum, the city market and the artisans' village, where you will see local craftsmen at work: silversmiths, woodcarvers, weavers, and leatherworkers.
Day 08 - Bamako/Mopti
Drive to Mopti. Explore the interesting places along the road. Stay overnight.
Day 09 - Mopti/Djenne/Mopti
Drive to Djenne to experience the local colorful Sunday bazaar. Stroll around the market stalls, observe the magnificent Grand Mosque, the world's largest Mud- brick architecture and one of Unesco's World Heritage sites. Then return to Mopti for overnight.
Day 10 - Mopti/Dogon Village/Sangba
Drive to the fascinating Dogon country in the early morning where you will visit the Dogon village Songo, renowned for its rock paintings and circumcision grotto. Continue to Sangha and stay overnight.
Day 11 - Sangba
Full day to explore some surrounding ancient villages. Stay overnight at Sangba.
Day 12 - Dogon/Segou
Visit Sangha, Ogols and Bongo. See the traditional women's house, the sacrificial altar of the Hogon (the Dogon people's traditional and religious leader). Visit a Dogon seer. In the afternoon depart Dogon Country and drive to Segou for dinner and overnight.
Day 13 - Segou/Bamako
Explore Segou, Mali's second largest city and Sokoro, ancient capital of the Bambara kingdom, which is now just a sleepy village on the Niger River. See the tomb of King Biton Coulibaly. After lunch, return to Bamako for dinner and overnight.
Day 14 - Exit Bamako
Check out the hotel and get prepared for your departure. Your Africa tour ends here.
