Day 01: Entry Nouakchott
Upon your arrival, check in at a local hotel and get prepared for your coming tour in Mauritania.
Day 02: Nouakchott
This morning visit the museum and the markets where you can purchase some well-content souvenirs. Then visit a fishing port. Your tour ends here.
Day 03: Nouakchott - Atar - Chinguetti
Drive to Atar via Akjoujt. Then head on to Chinguetti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 04: Chinguetti - Ouadane
Explore Chinguetti including the mosque. Then drive to Quadane through the desert and enjoy the unique desert scenery en route. Visit the Museum and experience the magnificent history of Mauritania.
Day 05: Quadane - Passe d'Amogjar - Terjit
Drive to Passe d'Amogjar. Explore the canyon and view the prehistoric paintings and the “Fort Saganne”. Then drive to Atar for a visit and head on to the Oasis of Tergit and relax in hot springs.
Day 06: Terjit - Nouakchott
After breakfast drive to Nouakchott. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 07: Nouakchott - Banc d’Arguin - Nouakchott / Exit
Drive to Banc d’Arguin National Park. Explore the park by sailboat and view the various kinds of birds. Then drive back to Nouakchott and end your tour here.
