Day 01 - Entry Accra
Upon your arrival, check in at a local hotel and have a good rest. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
Day 02 - Accra
Take a full day to explore Accra. Start the day by visiting the W.E.B. Du Bois Center and Black Star Square. Afterwards, visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, which is built to commemorate Ghana’s first president: Kwame Nkrumah. Then visit OSU Castle. Today’s last destination is the National Theater. Enjoy the performance of traditional instruments and carvings and then visit the National museum for a view of traditional crafts and other ethnographic exhibitions.
Day 03 - Accra/Cape Coast
Start the day by heading to Cape Coast. Visit Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Castle Museum.
Day 04 - Cape Coast
Drive to Kakum National Park. Have a walking tour of the park and see various kinds of animals especially butterflies. You can also have an aerial walk in the park. Then visit Elmina Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A sight-seeing of Elmina Fish Market is also recommended.
Day 05 - Cape Coast/Kumasi
This morning drive to Kumasi. Check in at a local hotel and have a short break. Then visit the Manhyia Palace.
Day 06 - Kumasi
Take a full day to visit the Ashanti craft villages. Start the day by visiting the pottery-making village of Pankrono. Afterwards, head on to Ahwiaa. You can see the exquisite woodcarving craftsmanship. Next destination is Ntonso and you can see the adinkra cloth for some stately occasions. Then visit Bonwire and the Kente cloth is weaved on looms by hand. Last, Visit the Kumasi Central Market, the largest open-air market in West Africa, and you can purchase some well-content souvenirs here.
Day 07 - Kumasi
This morning, visit the home of Nana Yaa Asantewaa, the legendary female general. Then visit the National Cultural Center.
Day 08 - Kumasi/Mole National Park
Drive to Mole National Park, the largest national park in Ghana, along a terrible road. En route, enjoy the Savannah grassland and visit Larabanga Mosque.
Day 09 - Mole National Park
Take a full day to explore the Mole National Park and view various kinds of animals such as elephants.
Day 10 - Mole National Park/Techiman
After breakfast, drive to Techiman. Visit the Kintampo Waterfalls. Then visit the Central Market and you can see a large collection of potteries and crafts. You can purchase some well-content souvenirs.
Day 11 - Techiman
Drive to Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary. View two different species of monkeys: the Campbell's Mona and the Geoffroy's Columbus.
Day 12 - Techiman/Ada Foah
After breakfast, drive to Ada Foah where the Volta River drains into the sea. En route, you can visit some villages. Check in at a local hotel and wander around along the beach.
Day 13 - Ada Foah
Take a boat on the Lake Volta, the largest man-made lake in the West Africa and enjoy the amazing scenery. You can also have a sight-seeing at small islands.
Day 14 - Ada Foah/Exit Accra
Drive to Accra and end your tour here.
